First time i saw it in 2011 was an amazing montage and now is one of my favorite montage ever
I would do unspeakable things to feel the way I used to playing cod back in those days
Why is this montage good?
-Best gameplay
-Best editing (not over/underedited) perfect balance
-Perfect length
Downside:
-Had to spent a lot of money on new pants, tissues, etc.
The best times of trickshotting no doubt about it. 2011 was the peak. From FaZe top 5 trickshots of the week to jambis challenges. To Dare being the biggest clan at the start of 2011 to FaZe getting hacked and growing massively and claiming the number 1 forever And ofc psn getting hacked :D Great clans where semented into the scene like supra,just,soar, fume,synergy,psyqo,truth,era. great invidual ts content creators without clans like ie platinum, zevr, von domo, teeqo (at the start of 2011) oh yeah and the age of cinemas and "sponsors" uploading clans and players episodes. fuck there was so many cinema intros used in montages in 2011 :D and every argument about who was better was solved in 1vs1 qs in rust with miniscule health. and also competitive sniping was popping off. hq private matches with teams battling it out like it was esports :D editors like artziee,perfect,ninja, mink and editing team prestige like luciddesigns and editing contests held left right and center. at most level every edit was acceptable and everyone didnt have to have the same shitty rap song after effects pan and crop effects go boom garbage like in 2012 when the community turned to shit after the climbing trickshot era if you ask me hence i quit before bo2.
Thank you for being one of the only people to actually describe the real scene! I was obsessed with comp sniping. If I remember correctly didn't sniperleaderboards add in Capture the flag as well? I swear I remember playing ctf comp sniping. Either way, I can tell you were there! Those days were insane. Shit, Faze Temperrr and Jambi felt like celebrities. Along with the early people in Optic! Ugh I could talk about these days for hours
Oh yeah and can't forget all the crazy recruitment challenges! Watching people go from a team with 10k to making into Soar or faze etc was dope to see

I am 24 now. I was 12-14 when the golden era of cod was a thing. It is truly a damn shame so many people never got to experience real cod. I still play the new ones. But it will never be the same. Crazy to think they’ve never missed a year of cod releases. The people that did this back then are the true homies and OGs. Former Dare, eRa, and BoLT member here. I had a stacked friends list back in the day. I had 5-10 of the bigger faze guys added too. Crazy to think how much life could be diff if I recorded back then man. I had FaZe Dayv, Kay, Rug, Aqua, Linkzy, and Dyn Added to name a few. I know there were a couple others. Mw3 is when I played with them the most. Crazy crazy times. I miss it. 😢
