Even I have phased such incident and overcome it...graduated @21 worked Hard to earn...got married @32 and a sudden illness named as pots spine which made me paralyzed @ 33 underwent a life threating spine surgery....6 months bed ridden, doctors said mom n dad ur kid might not stand again on his legs... started physiotherapy took 2 years for full recovery now I can not only stand again but I can run also bought a house @ 34 in a posh locality in the financial capital of the country.. Thanks to almighty , and my wife who never believed that I can't walk again..and also mom n dad....
When I was deployed to Afghanistan in 2011 watching this movie was the best thing to do bedside going for shoot. I probably watch more than 12 times . The best movie ever !!

I missed out watching this masterpiece in the summer of 1994, it took me months later to watch it for the very first time on VHS. I consider this one of the best films of all-time and one of the best from the 1990s. And John Travolta once offered to play the role of Forrest but he turn it down to do Pulp Fiction instead. Not sure if that's accurate.

I never watched this. I'm gonna watch it. I mean, Trivia Crack apparently loves this film because it pops up everywhere in my trivia question and I pretty much get it all right, for someone who has never seen it before :P
The movie may be predictable, and its messages aren't that new or deep, but the relatability and sense of life being this unpredictable thing is the pull to the film's plot along with some really strong performances.
