    It is a neat to watch your Tucker cat work.
    Ran Pisten Bully cats for 5 seasons at a large ski resort.
    Following the trails after a big snow proved occasionally difficult.
    Great work, fellas. Thank you for being out there, we appreciate your efforts

    Up north they run John Deere loader tractors with tracks on them. They pull a long drag that is hydraulically operated to level the trails.

    Great vids. Gave me some ideas for grooming up here MB 🇨🇦. Brokenheadtrailblazers. From one operator to another thanks for what you do to keep snowmobilers safe!! A lot of volunteer hours go into brushing, signing, maintenance just to get out and groom.

      Jeff Wagner We’re using BR275 with mogul master 16’ drag. We don’t have snow like you guys there. That’s amazing!! What type of drag is that you use. I like the short length and the roller. Do you always pan after rolled? We have a lot of runs through the trees and it can be very tight.

    • @jeffwagner9915
      @jeffwagner9915  5 лет назад

      Curtis ATVPRO we have a Tucker 2000 with a Maxey Idaho Special drag. I am told it pulls a lot easier in our type of snow. We usually try to roll just a bit in the first blade then roll and pan if able to. Bumps are an issue we battle with all the new snow.

    Great video, Jeff! Makes me miss our 02 Tucker, but it's over at Hyatt Lake and the Lake of the Woods club has said to come run it! We've been real spoiled running our 13 PistenBully here at the Rogue Club in Southern Oregon. And yes, this has been a good year for snow. We are right at 12 feet at 6000 feet and still counting. Keep up the great work!

    I dont get the plowing a trail for a snowmobile. Pretty sure that them sled guys try to find deep snow like that. Or the reason they plow the trails so when someone grenades their snowmobile they can drive their toyota's to them for recovery operations. I heard that you can get a ticket for driving your toyota on a snowmobile trail. Is that correct?

    • @jeffwagner9915
      @jeffwagner9915  5 лет назад

      TheShockLoad snowmobile trails are not open to wheeled vehicles. The grooming of trails allows for the younger and older population to enjoy snowmobiling. This past weekend our club hosted a kids ride. Without groomed trails, this family activity would not be possible. Anyone that snowmobiles also knows the damage that wheeled vehicles do to the trails.
