exactly. like I'm reading comments and one comment in particular stood out to me. the person said "they should stop making music." and much more. they are giving ALL the credit to Lacey. I didn't listen to flyleaf just for her. I liked the fact that they had a girl lead who could sing in tune with great guitar and drum lines. the lyrics are also what drew me in. but people just can't seem to realize the talent all the members had. lacey was one backbone for the band. they haven't changed. they still sound like flyleaf. this is honestly my favorite made by the band. Lacey is a great singer. but this new album is definitely another amazing creation made by 5 talented musicians. I'm glad they didn't stop. this new singer is doing great and has an insane range. I wish only the best for them.
It is one of the only bands to get a new singer that still sounds original to the band to me instead of a completely different sound and don't seem to match the music the same. Kinda like Evans Blue in my opinion, the singers after the 1st I thought didn't have the same touch to the music as he did, but his sound to me is kinda it's own.
This one is slightly different :) The drums sound much clearer, there's a pause from 0:10-0:12, the guitars are really raw at 0:34, another little pause from 1:14-1:16, ultra drum clarity at 1:26, and the overdubbing of Kristen's voice is more pronounced in the bridge. Small changes but I love it!
Rosela1996 i think a better way of saying it is that its a different mix. i compared what he was saying to the album rip. its the same song, same version, but refined mixing. and those little pauses.
I don't get why new singers get so much hate when they're brought into a new band. Are people just that close minded? I actually like the new singer. Then again I never really seemed to care when a band gets a new singer. Sure, the sound is different. But if you really like/support them, you'll listen to them no matter what.

This is a lot better I think this is more unique to her as an artist although it's still vage and disassociated the sound is better and I think she did still try to show herself more as an artist

I definitely think that Kristen has a vocal very more handsome than Lacey Sturm. I know everybody is accustomed to old singer but congratulations for this AMAZING new singer, she sings better than Lacey Sturm.
What a shame that this band kind of fell off the radar when Lacey left. This and their other single weren't bad. It's a shame they couldn't really get in the groove again.
