- This is a countdown of my favorite 90s cartoons and some of my favorite cartoons of all time. There were so many that it was too hard to choose even after I extended the list. Also, you may notice that some of the actual intros aren't in here, it has to do with copyright issues instated by Viacom. Thanks for watching!
80's and 90's hands down best decades for cartoons!!!!!!!! I know a lot of you cry like me with the nostalgia of it!

What people don't realize is that there were plenty of crappy 90s cartoons just like there are plenty of crappy ones in this period. People just choose to remember the good stuff while ignoring all the bad stuff. Basically, nothing has changed, there are still good shows and plenty of bad ones, same with the 90s.

***** I think the current era has more than one or two hits. Not just Adventure Time and Regular Show. Also Gravity Falls, Steven Universe, Wander over Yonder, Over the Garden Wall, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (I know it is an anime, but it is one of the few animes of today which doesn't suck)... They deserve respect, a lot of respect.

Last two most people haven't heard of
Angry Beavers though. And Wild Thornberrys. I guess there are too many to fit in a top 25 list.

And so would I... Doug isn't bad but it's not good either. I just think there are better cartoons like Ed Edd n Eddy or Rocko's modern. Life that would fit that spot.

Ohhh shit! I'd forgotten about some of these shows. Freakazoid, Gargoyles, the mighty ducks. Born 93 and watched all of these at one point or another.
People in here are complaining about Pokemon and Spongebob, when X-Men has been around the longest and is still making the biggest impact in the Cinema Industry. It definitely deserves a hire ranking. Lol

I think you nailed it with Doug with #1, actually could have been a toss up with rugrats , hey Arnold or rockos modern life.. Few changes I personally would change, take out baby muppets and add animaniacs, take out that 1st batman you listed because you have 2 on this list and add dragonball z, but it should be in the top 10. And also real monsters you can sub for 1 of those listed 23-25.. Everything else is fine with me. May not got the order all right in my opinion but I think you did pretty good with the 25 you chose.. Brung me LOTS of nostalgia :)

Doug as #1!?!??!? You had wayyyyyyyy better cartoons on that list that could've taken the number one spot. & Having Batman on there twice was kinda cheating. But @ the end of the day, 90's gave us the best cartoons than any other decade.

I used to have the Pokemon Pikachu alarm clock. Every hour though it would go off and the alarm sound was the theme song.
i remember a few of these..i also remember one about a red haired girl called pepperann or something like that..as told by ginger also came to my mind.
No Captain Planet? :( Though this really makes me want to watch Gargoyles again. I freakin loved that show when I was a kid! I even had the board game!

Can't anyone remember a cartoon that has some kids fighting aliens. The plot was this some blonde alien girl came with her grandpa then found friends and then made a squad.

either mega man is a copy of of Astro boy, Astro boy is a copy of of mega man, or the creators never heard of each other and just had the same idea..(but im pretty sure its option 1 because astro boy started out black and white
