    They found someone that’s insane enough to believe in the games and be their recruiter. He likes his job

    The salesman purely exists to play games with everyone he meets, he's living the dream

    Bcuz its too expensive to hire gongyoo for the whole season 2 and 3

    Gi-hun already won after that last trigger so handing over the gun to the Salesman was a stupid move. Good thing the Salesman honored the rule of the game at the end.

    • @ProGamerKid2000
      @ProGamerKid2000 4 дня назад +16

      He handed him the gun as to not prove his point that he was trash. Gi hun already had a glock on him so I'm sure he would've done something had the salesman tried to kill him

      @-victim. 4 дня назад +9

      Gi-hun is literally insulting him to the point on where the salesman oof himself to prove that he lost the game fair and square.

    • @wilcals5294
      @wilcals5294 4 дня назад

      @@ProGamerKid2000 The salesman was a lunatic so that's reason enough for Gi hun to not trust him with that last shot. Gi hun can just tell him that if he berates him about keeping the gun. No need to prove anything because no matter what, that bullet was already meant for the salesman.

      @@-victim. dude, the salesman was clearly insane. That's reason enough for Gi hun to not trust him about playing fair. Gi hun already proved that he's not trash by not withdrawing from his turn. The point is, he already won fair and square because that bullet was already meant for the salesman no matter what. Not handing the gun was just a safety measure.

      @-victim. 4 дня назад +3

      @@wilcals5294 i know that clearly, but we saw Gi-hun insulting him over and over to the point where the salesman doesn't wan't to admit it. He is insane that's the reason why Gi-hun gave it to him.

    I think the salesman was hired to bring all the winners back to the new game. He knew he had to die, so the players, searching for answers, would feel compelled to play again.

    I thought those first two episodes were really good also! I think you’re right about the boat guy-the frontman must have had him rescue Jun Ho and then pretend to look for the island in all the wrong places for two years. The boat guy actor is great, his facial expressions gave a little bit of a hint at the beginning of episode 3, that’s when he seemed a little suspicious and more disingenuous.

    No he killed himself because he recognized that Gi Hun is a brave man that can bring down the whole organization. He knew he was a bad human being but this is the last time he can do something good.

    The bread segment was interesting. I mean, I did think he was scouting out new players but I guess not.
    In my mind, the bred and lottery was leaning into the theory that for different players their are different games to get in other than ddjakji.

  • @MicahelWaqar
    @MicahelWaqar 4 дня назад +3

    Agree. For me it would have been more logical if he had tried to escape instead of shooting himself with the last shot. Because he is used to play games such that he always has an advantage and always keeps the power. When he lost his power in the game I would expect him to also loose his pokerface and panic

    I couldnt find an image because of how brief his appearance was, but at timestamp 29:10, the salesman approaches a homeless man offering him the bread or scratch ticket. I doubt anyone could find the actor for the homeless man considering how irrelevant he was to the story and just pure backup. But by pure chance if anyone knew a way to determine this or have a feint idea please let me know.

    Now let every bit of my dialogue be about clearing up how you got rescued, by me, a lonely fisherman. If I hadn’t luckily picked you up you’d be dead. Good thing you were clinging to a buoy in the sea. Good thing I was there just in time!” 😂

    While it was good to reengage with his character again, I was frustrated by the bread & lottery game which seemed to just be for his amusement / a good time? I was waiting for it to tie into the games and therefore his employment (giving out cards to the homeless people he tormented, at least!) but the way the character was written this season made his motivations feel so much more internal that external (as they were in s1) and therefore a bit confusing that it would be important for us to see him call himself “their dog” as what has just occurred (bread & lottery and also with the roulette game) both felt like his decisions to enact, and not the organizations.

      I mean that's the point of the scene. To show his psychotic and sadistic nature, which explains how he even managed to end up being a recruiter for the games. He even proved it by bragging about killing his dad and feeling no remorse. This man just simply took pleasure in humiliating the poor.

    Also just when I made a post about whether the players are chipped or not

      Disappointing how? He recruits and tricks people into playing games that will get them killed for losing. His psychotic, depraved, and sadistic personality aligns perfectly with his profession. Considering his calm demeanor in the first season, it really spices up his character in the next season

    What a ridiculous twist of facts ! It had nothing to do "killing himself". It was all about honoring the rule of the game or the deal or the integrity of himself as part of the industry. You don't deserve to watch the show.

    Yeah, I get that he's deranged, but it just seemed out-of-character from what little we saw of him from the first season. In other words, if you asked me to compile a list of psychopathic maniacs from the first season, he wouldn't be anywhere near the top of that list, lol.

    • @ProGamerKid2000
      @ProGamerKid2000 4 дня назад

      His professional demeanor is a facade for recruitment purposes. But in reality it just shows that he is simply a depraved and sadistic person in general and enjoys what he does.

    What if the Recruiter didn't actually kill himself and faked his death? Remember, when a character's dead body isn't being shown, then there is a chance that that character is not actually dead. Remember that the player 001 in Season 1 didn't actually die in the game and faked his death there. The Recruiter can also do the same. I won't be surprised if in the end it's revealed that The Recruiter is the actual mastermind of the Game.
