@dyl- yup. Crazy thing is philly drafted goedert when ertz was only 27. I'm surprised we haven't drafted goederts replacement or at least a solid number 2 to go along with him. I guess philly tried with calcaterra but hes not it. Especially with the little amount of production we've had when goedert has been hurt.
they realized they had goedert still on the team and stopped throwing it to practice squad players. Imagine what that does to an offense if you play with your best players
@jholylibrera902 The irony is Goedert actually recorded the 9th fastest speed this season in the entire NFL on that 61 yard catch. He’s actually very fast, particularly for a tight end.
People dont understand how underutilized he is. Im an eagles fan and i never understood why they dont get him the rock. It opens up the outside for brown and smith
@drizzle27 His catch percentage (73%) and yards per catch (11.8) are both higher than Ertz’s time in Philly (66.7% and 10.8 for Ertz). He’s been massively underutilized for years but he’s also been really unlucky with cheap shot injuries the past two seasons.
@@Photosoflife I also just think unfortunately for him, the eagles have two really exceptional receivers that hurts seems to favour more often. Especially last year when it seemed like the OC considered the middle of the field straight up off-limits for whatever reason.

The problem is when you have AJ and Devante and Barkley. Dallas is not going to get a ton of catches. He still gonna get numbers but he’s not gonna get Travis Kelce numbers. Now this week he will get looks
I love Goedert but since the season started it looks like he is afraid to stiff arm (probably due to last year when he had his arm broken while giving a stiff arm.) Hopefully they keep feeding him because the possibility of our main WRs out Saquon and Dallas will have to carry this week.
@themarshmallowknownasking671 I noticed the exact same thing. That used to be his signature move. If you go back and watch the 61 yard catch he initially puts out a stiff arm but then pulls his arm back. Bigger picture, I’d rather he stay healthy instead of fighting for every single extra yard. Which he’s admirably done since he was a rookie but it’s cost him 16 games due to injuries over the years. We need him healthy because he is a stud.
Ugh. These people who clearly don't know the league. Probably only watch their own team. Goedert has had elite yards per target over the last few years. That's when the casuals say comments like goedert is mid.
@Naps2305 Goedert is rated as the 4th best tight end by PFF over the past four seasons. He’s literally graded as the best blocking tight end in the league and is a great pass catcher. He’s been unfortunate the past two seasons with dirty plays against him that have caused injuries that have derailed Pro Bowl seasons.

Hurts needs to stop turning it over so much. Relax, stop playing hero ball. Stop holding it so long and scrambling, hes not Vick. He also tries to make throws in windows his arm cant make. He doesnt have zip like Stafford for example. Good leader and player just needs to tune up a bit and he'll be great. Im not saying his arm is trash or anything.
