This is my 3rd Harley and I love it. The BEST brakes I've experienced from Harley by a long shot, same for the fork as well. Honestly I did add a Saddleman seat, a V&H 2 into 1 short competition stainless exhaust and an S&S 475 cam and had it dyno tuned. I runsVERY strong for a 114 and is an absolute blast to ride.
One of very few Harleys I actually like the look of. I didn't pay much attention to where the foot pegs are but I usually don't like how you sit on a Harley with your feet out in front of you instead of underneath
I love that bike so much, I gifted me one for my birthday, thanks Harley for crushing it for me. keep on riding safely… my canyon crusher baby. Angeles Crest and Mulholland.
I love that headlight design too, gives a very unique look, kinda gives a little futuristic look if you ask me. Just hope harley doesnt stop it's production, planning to buy it next year!
I really like that bike and that color. I’m always tempted by so many Harleys, but this one for sure. I am a fan of the headlight. It had to grow on me. Now, I cannot imagine the Fatbob without it.
I absolutely love the Fat Bob. I’d much rather get the Fat Bob than the Low Rider S. Because everyone and their dad has a Low Rider S. See Fat Bob out in the wild is rare. I’d much rather swim around or through the crowd, than with it. There isn’t much I’d have to do before it’s my own. I’d put some stickier rubber on it. Probably some Pirelli Night Dragons or some Avon Chrome Cobras. I’d do some mid controls, a TBR 2 into 1 exhaust, Number Plate relocation, integrated taillight and signals, Saddlemen Step Up seat, Heated Grips, 5 inch Pullback risers, Moto bar and finally the SE 114 to 122 kit.
I just got my fat white Bob last Saturday. So far I’m loving it. I do want to change the rear lights and license plate. Already ordered my fairing and windshield. Soon I’ll be changing the exhaust. Great video!
Wife bought it on Saturday then took it 250 mi each way to Daytona Bike Week. Bike carves well, great power from the 114 though a bit leggie off the line compared to her 2020 Street Glide Special. SEAT IS COMFORTABLE! Wish the tank was a bit bigger. Get a detachable windshield for longer rides. Great bike!
I hope they fix the speedometer. Myself and two others replaced at least three of them each because they leak and have some sort of condensation so bad that you can’t read the gauges Harley didn’t give a crap
I've just got myself a pre registered 2021 Fat Bob 114 in the UK for £14,995 vivid black with only 110 miles. Absolutely love the bike it's my first Harley and it really got my attention when it came out in 2018. The only real mod I'll be doing is adding a stainless or chrome 2 into 1 exhaust with a tune and an aftermarket bolt in cam once the warranty expires in March 2023. Some cams give you an extra 30bhp and 25ftlb over stock👍
Hi, I thinking of buying one of these as my first bike your comment caught my eye as your the only one I have spotted who has a comment coming from the U.K. area. Any recommendations, modifications ?? Cheers. Atb.
@@JaySingh-ex6xc the bike is absolutely fine as standard but remember it is a heavy bike at 306kg. Very comfortable with lots of torque so just go easy with the throttle until you get more confidence with the bike👍
Loving the Fat Bob. Just put a deposit on one, here in England. Originally had looked seriously at the Triumph Bobber. At the last moment I decided to test ride the Fat Bob, perhaps to satisfy an itch, and came away loving it. Maybe not as refined or as retro styled, but the sheer muscular nature of it combined with styling, like the front headlight (that the new Sportster S seems to be sharing) is just so cool. Thanks for the video post 👍🏻 too.
I picked up a 23 gray haze a couple of months ago and sunk a lot of extras into it. I'm 6'3" and about 300 lbs. I knew it was a bar hopper, but my sport bikes are actually more comfortable for ME. --The '23 soft tails have the Cruise Control as a standard, now.
I love the Fat Bob, I think it is a very creative performance cruiser with lovely, high quality details and a lot of built-in comfort. They knew they were running up against conservative tastes and did it anyway. I really might step back from touring to get one.
This one is the winner of the 2022 releases, so far. I typically don't like white, but this one is a little more muted. I think I'd take it over the black.
1000thanks for this post! 1) I am disappointed as well with the lack of TFT display 2) When I saw only 2colours available, I thought we might get a 117+ version with other colours (like when we had 107/114 option). But then, the EU site has a 3rd colour available (gunship gray), so maybe not... Getting the rumoured 117 Lowrider is kinda weird, if the Fatbob doesn't have that option as well.
Thank you. In regards to the 117 in the S, I think Harley had to do that. Or needed to anyway. Because when they cancelled the regular Lowrider, what made the S an S. The Fat Bob has everything the S does so to me it wasn't an S. I wonder why we didn't get the gray option. That color looks so good in person.
@@throttleblip9854 Yeah, I don't understand why you don't seem to be getting that colour... maybe it's a site design mistake. To be frank, I also don't get why EU gets Sport Glides and Breakouts and you don't 👀. Hope the 26th reveal has more fresh stuff as so far it's a bit underwhelming, especially with the surcharges all over the place.
Love the fatbob racking my head to which bike between sportster s , lowrider s , and fat bob. I need the weight of the the sportser, looks of fb and bigger gas tank of the lowrider . Decisions
Sorry but I don’t like a lot of things with the Fat Bob starting with the exhaust system. They could really clean that up and install a more traditional softail exhaust and mufflers on the bike. With those handlebars and no wind protection, the bike is pretty much limited to being a bar hopper. That’s a lot of engine being wasted on a bar hopper. Also believe they could have really cleaned up the gas tank by moving the filler into the console.
Yeah I don't understand their choice of exhaust on this bike either. I like that it's upswept but I don't like the dual mufflers. 2into1 for me. I see a lot of t bars and small fairings being put on these which I'm a fan of.
The moment you start putting more "traditional" things on a Fat Bob, it... stops being a Fat Bob. I'm buying one partly because it's different than every other Harley.
I love the styling and potential performance aspect of the fat bob. But at that MSRP it should have a much better electronics package and other added goodies. The FTR 1200 Carbon R comes fully loaded with ohlins suspension, wicked display/user interface, akrapovic exhaust for $2k less. Would love to see Harley do the same.
I like looking at the new bikes as they come out but I don't see anything about them that makes me want to trade in my older Harley. I've already done all the upgrades I could want including LED lights.
Hey that head light is a game changer for the better compared to the previous dual headlight. The 114 is good enough but I agree the 117 would’ve been nice & a better redesigned exhaust. Great walk around video. I always liked the fat bob. One of my favorite bikes & designs under the soft tail family. 👍🏽
I love this bike , All i have to add is i am not in a rush to get my next ride as i am having plenty of fun with the rides i have at present BUT i am keen SO keen for the development of the BRONX , come on H-D 😁🏍👍🏾⚘
I like it only things I don't like is the license plate mount, exhaust, and I wish the headlight bezel matched the triple tree instead of being the gloss black, none of this would keep me from buying it
I agree with you. The Street bob and Fat bob are my 2 favorite softails. The fat bob has that post apocalyptic/ mad max look that is just awesome 👌 IMO. As far as colors go I like them both. I do like the more simplified badge on the previous Years especially the vivid black with silver badge. Just like the electra glide standard with the red badge. The 22 colors are amazing as well tho. Great review as always. Ive really enjoyed this channels content over the last year and look forward to the videos to come in 2022. Have you ever thought of doing a more in depth video on the stage 1-4 performance kits? That's something I would really enjoy you reviewing and thoughts on. I'm currently having a stage 2 SE torque cam kit installed on my 21 Street bob at my local dealership while i wait for spring to come around.
I definitely appreciate a simple logo. Like you mentioned the EGS, that one is pretty perfect to me. I also like the bar and shield outline they do on the pan am. It's a huge logo but still well done. I am definitely interested in doing a review of the stages. Ideally i'd do them all on the same kind of bike. Obviously from a cost standpoint that wouldn't make much sense. Also having the dealership do them all could be possible but they would probably only do one at a time. I guess I could just talk about what goes into each one, cost, reliability, difficulty, etc. I love big power bikes but after opening the whole day on a 122 Lowrider S I'm pretty sure I'd do that over the 131 although i've only ridden the 131 in a FLTRXS.
@@throttleblip9854 ya just going over the different stages in detail would be an awesome video. Cost, what to expect in performance, what you personally think about them etc. I would like to hear your opinion on it. I personally am just going to stick with the stage 2 on the street bob. I don't think it's going to need more than that for such a light bike. Also with all the add ons and mods I've done so far i dont think my bank account can take much more abuse 😆. Ive added the saddleman step up seat, memphis shades windshield, Edward Richie sissy bar and stage 2 SE torque cam kit so far. I plan on adding some trim items as well such as axel nut covers, coil cover, and oil cooler cover this spring. Maybe if the wife doesn't notice some mustache engine guards 🤔😆. After all that I'm tapping out for now. Again great videos I've shared several with friends that ride Harleys as well so hopefully they subscribed 👍
I like the look of the horizontal headlight. Then when I see one that has been fitted with a round light, I'm torn between the two. I saw one that was setup with the old twin headlights, and it was sharp.
if i were to get a hd, this would be it. nothing needs to be changed/customized IMO. wild thing about hd is the already very expensive bike is often immediately 'upgraded' adding even more cost. i get buying bags and perhaps a quick release windshield but to change parts out on a brand new premium priced bike is too much.
WTF I can't believe at this price point that the turn signals/brake lights are still incandescent. With that being said the fat Bob look is really growing on me. I'm considering the fat Bob because I want a performance cruiser. I currently ride an iron 1200. Cornering is not really good on that bike due to the lean angle. It's too easy to drag parts. I think corner carving will be more fun on the street bob. The suspension is a huge upgrade. And the lean angle is much better. The 114 Milwaukee 8 is a huge bonus as well.
I love the fenders, the seat, and the tires. That's it. How hard would it be to marry these Fat Bob parts to a Fat boy? Only asking because they don't make the Slim or the Deluxe anymore.
On Touring frame bikes the angled valve stems are indicative of RDRS and its tire pressure monitoring system along with the left side "TC" switch. Non RDRS bikes have the straight valve stems. Not sure about Softails though at some point I'd expect some form of RDRS to migrate to the Softail family.
Miss fxdr 114 and breakout and dyna and low rider and softail buut they kept fat bob at least its like muscle dyna wide glide. Torque is soo good. I dont care about hp because I m heavy man and torque is really really good on this bike 155 nm right?
Love the new graphic! Wish they didn’t get so overshadowed by the lowrider S. May have took a minute for those bikes to grow on me but I dig it. Nice walk around, great video👌 keep up the good stuff boss man 🤙
Appreciate the kind words. When I did the VS video of the fat bob vs the lowrider all anyone mentioned was the bigger gas tank on the lowrider S. I didn’t know so many guys were doing long distance on either of these haha
@@throttleblip9854 of course! Love the channel! I totally agree with you! Most people again I say most, don’t necessarily get a softail for touring type riding.
Love looks like awesome agree with 2 in to one pipe like indy outlaw Vance Hine like on my vrod night rod special sold it to my uncle love see if could ride again
Correct. Yeah I wasn't either. I'm not sure what they could have done to it. a 117 would have been cool but not needed especially if it drove the price up.
I like the bike, but probably won't ever buy one. I also prefer mid controls, but to buy them after costs $960 and that is just too much. I prefer an analog speedometer or should I say one with a needle. It can be digital if it looks like an analog with the needle. I think this bike would look better if they just eliminated the whole console off of the tank and moved the gauge to the handlebar area. For the money I would probably go with the Lowrider S or even the Street Bob over this. I like it, just not more than some of the others offered.
Interesting. I just don't think with that wide front end a circle would work. I don't know if you remember the older versions that had the dual circle headlight but did you like that one better? I hated that one lol.
can it b fixed foot pedals farther back,,,that's only for really tall riders,,,small tank wish it was bigger, headlamp good deal,,I'd have longer handle bars ya don't have reach so far forward...otherwise good bike,,like the fuel gauge set up watch the miles b for u run out...gotta have bigger tank.
Hey man! The vid was really professional and enjoyable! I’d just like to as you does this bike have a slipper clutch? Because I tend to rev match a lot on motorcycles and the one which don’t have a slipper clutch, I tend to avoid rev matching in them, anyways your answer would be appreciated!
You have to have a test ride them pegs are not that far forward I had forward pegs on my sportster and hated them but on my Fat Bob they are not that bad and I find them comfortable I'm 5"6 And seen way sorter people ride them and say they are fine 🤓👍
I think this is the best looking HD by far, with the exception of that rectangle headlight, which I can't stand. Hate it, looks terrible. Is it hard to fit a round light, and/or do kits exist? Love the tachometer, more cruisers need them! Would try to tuck the plate under the rear fender, looks awkward off to the side there.. I like the bike but not for 20k, just too much else out there used. I could find 3 amazing used bikes for that kind of cash. I feel like people who buy new HDs these days just have money to burn.
This is where I'm at. Looks great but for $5K less you can get a much faster, more modern bike that's even still a Harley-Davidson, by getting the Sportster S.
@@christhepatriot4621 I think the bobber dark horse is going for around the same price, I'd go with the chief dark horse. It's the same bike but with a better tank decal, mid controls, and normal bars for like 16-17k
Can you run mids with that? I don't mind the headlight so much as the drag bars. I like the chunky look of the bike compared to the Low Rider. As a rule I don't carry a pillion passenger. Shame to see the end of the green and the new blue is a winner with me.
The Harley Davidson has literally jumped in price over the last few years. Asking price in Canada where I live, around 24,000 dollars. I like the look of this bike but not the price.
The fxlrs is just too much bike for the money compared with the fat bob now, they really need to drop that 117 in for next years model or drop the price, aside from the adjustable shock dial on the side and a less generic look what does the fat bob offer over the LRS for the higher price.
Think I covered that at the beginning but they start at MSRP of 19,200. definitely call your dealer though because prices are all over the place right now.
After the release of the nearly maintenance free Revolution Max format in the Pan America & Sportster S, I am not really interested in anything from Harley Davidson. I had a 96 cubic inch Road King for 9 years, then I have had a 2017 M8 107 cubic inch street glide until the present date. It's time for HD to move into the performance motorcycle arena and with all the technology that comes along with it.

I like it I’d like to put a fairing on it and some bags. Like the new low rider s
I'd do the same. I wish that ST fairing would work on it.
So… new paint? They just released the bike so wasn’t expecting much.
Correct. Yeah I wasn't either. I'm not sure what they could have done to it. a 117 would have been cool but not needed especially if it drove the price up.
New wheels, too. Nobody really noticing them, but they are different compared to the '18-'21 style.
Best looking HD!
I love the bike but I’m not liking this years paint.
Thanks for posting this
Thanks for watching.
Bro killing these vids man 👊🏾
I like the bike with the exception of the headlight. It looks like a cheesey aftermarket light.
Interesting. I just don't think with that wide front end a circle would work. I don't know if you remember the older versions that had the dual circle headlight but did you like that one better? I hated that one lol.
Such a Sick Ride 🔥
Any changes from the 2021 model compared to this? Or is it just the color choices?
Just the color on this one!
@@throttleblip9854 Thanks
I loved the white when it wasn't glossy.
can it b fixed foot pedals farther back,,,that's only for really tall riders,,,small tank wish it was bigger, headlamp good deal,,I'd have longer handle bars ya don't have reach so far forward...otherwise good bike,,like the fuel gauge set up watch the miles b for u run out...gotta have bigger tank.
Yes you can switch to mid controls!
What's the difference between 2021 & 2022 besides color changes?
Hey man! The vid was really professional and enjoyable! I’d just like to as you does this bike have a slipper clutch? Because I tend to rev match a lot on motorcycles and the one which don’t have a slipper clutch, I tend to avoid rev matching in them, anyways your answer would be appreciated!
Is this a small bike? I’m 6’3” and in the market for something
How tall are you? For reference. i'm 6'2 would you recommend this bike?
Love the light
Does it come with mid-control mods? Looks really good except for the control location. Not for short people like me.
It doesn't but it should. Fat Bob always has forwards from the factory. They can be changed but you're gonna have to pay to do it.
You have to have a test ride them pegs are not that far forward I had forward pegs on my sportster and hated them but on my Fat Bob they are not that bad and I find them comfortable I'm 5"6
And seen way sorter people ride them and say they are fine 🤓👍
I think this is the best looking HD by far, with the exception of that rectangle headlight, which I can't stand. Hate it, looks terrible. Is it hard to fit a round light, and/or do kits exist? Love the tachometer, more cruisers need them! Would try to tuck the plate under the rear fender, looks awkward off to the side there.. I like the bike but not for 20k, just too much else out there used. I could find 3 amazing used bikes for that kind of cash. I feel like people who buy new HDs these days just have money to burn.
Great video but can you please show the green used FatBob
Love the fatbob, I just can't with that price tag
This is where I'm at. Looks great but for $5K less you can get a much faster, more modern bike that's even still a Harley-Davidson, by getting the Sportster S.
@@tinman3586 yeah, Harley really is pricing themselves out
Totally agree! Indian chief dark horse bobber gives you everything for less money
@@christhepatriot4621 I think the bobber dark horse is going for around the same price, I'd go with the chief dark horse. It's the same bike but with a better tank decal, mid controls, and normal bars for like 16-17k
Just wish it had a bigger tank
Yep me too. My biggest problem is only getting just over 250km from full
Yeah 114 is plenty on the bob
Can you run mids with that? I don't mind the headlight so much as the drag bars. I like the chunky look of the bike compared to the Low Rider. As a rule I don't carry a pillion passenger. Shame to see the end of the green and the new blue is a winner with me.
Harley does make a mid control kit. Like everything Harley it is pricey.
@@carlbruhn1772 About $750 US?
My plate is mounted vertical with stock attachment points.
Mine too, it's very easy to do, you would think he would know that.
My fav 👋🏼
Hard to beat.
What mic u got for phone
Cheehuuuu!!! Let’s Go!! 🤙🏾🔥
Only thing I don't like, is the lack of a round headlight lol.
I like everything about the fat Bob except the exhaust.
The Harley Davidson has literally jumped in price over the last few years. Asking price in Canada where I live, around 24,000 dollars. I like the look of this bike but not the price.
What turns me off is the $5000 dealer markup. I was ready to buy until they dropped that on me.
The fxlrs is just too much bike for the money compared with the fat bob now, they really need to drop that 117 in for next years model or drop the price, aside from the adjustable shock dial on the side and a less generic look what does the fat bob offer over the LRS for the higher price.
You’d think for $20,000 HD would give us an all digital face.
My type of bike.
Great share Fam 🤙🏾🔥
How much does it cost?
Think I covered that at the beginning but they start at MSRP of 19,200. definitely call your dealer though because prices are all over the place right now.
Does it have gear indicator
Yes, shows up once the gear is fully engaged
Good walkabout
ABS ???
I demoed this bike in 2020. The right cylinder burned my thigh and I was wearing jeans with long underwear!
Man I wish we would see that for 23 but honestly I feel like that could be a 2025 thing unfortunately. I guess time will tell.

Bagus sayangnya sy blom bisa beli
Tims in Anderson has them around 25 grand, its just too much for the younger generations
