Your Moment (Official Lyric Video)

When I first heard about my sweet Papaw's terminal cancer last spring, I was crushed beyond what I can describe. However, though I felt as though my world was crashing around me, I remember thinking, "Okay. This is my moment to live what I believe. This is where the rubber meets the road." I resolved to dig in my heels and cling to the truth that I know: Death is temporary, life in Christ is forever and God is our rock in the storm.
It's okay to grieve. It's okay to feel. But what will we do in those times of great difficulty? Will we walk away? Or will we choose to let the light of Jesus shine into our brokenness and heal our hearts?
As I reflected on these things, I wrote this song. Most of it flowed from my pen in one sitting and it truly felt like a healing gift from God. It came straight from my heart and I pray the truth in it ministers to you as it has to me.
