- Another fantastic performance of this charismatic and vivid French-Canadian talent. This one comes from the 1996 French show where she sang a medley of songs with two other French singers.
What an unusually sounding belting mode she has! It's all things at once - powerful, raw, very focused yet very deep and rich. It's probably one of the main reasons no one can top her now. I could listen to 5.05-10 for hours!

The man who sings ''L'encre de tes Yeux'' is Patrick Bruel ( a famous French singer). The woman then is Carole Frederics (an American singer who passed away for years). She sang in a french band called ''goldman frederic jones'', very famous ans loved in France.
In the video she recovered Michel Sardou's song (La Maladie D'amour)

@theoneandonly2503 c'est normal elle a pris 15 ans ! la voix change et ça reste quand même tout a fait audible! Néanmoins je suis d'accord sur un point sa voix n'est plus exactement la même, elle a gagné en maturité et est plus posée qu'avant, bref elle n'est plus dans l'optique : performance; maintenant elle chante juste comme il le faut!

the male singer is not a french canadian. His name is Patrick Bruel.. he's a french singer ( we don't have the same accent lol)

Excuse moi mais quand tu entend chanter Celine Dion cette chanson en 2009, c'est largement moins bien, moins de vibrato, un moins beau timbre, moins plein, c'est plus criard, moins agile, enfin bref, elle a tjrs une belle voix mais rien de comparable avec sa voix d'avant.
j'adore cette chanson mais là elle est un peu moins bien ... le duo avec Patrick Bruel est sublime en tout cas !
