What I've learn Before, during and after UPCAT was to first, PRAY PRAY PRAY it out to God. Secondly, don't entertain any negative thoughts in your life. Lastly, review and don't stress your brain out.. limit your study hours to approximately 4hrs. A day.. then rest the day before the EXAM... For question 15, it says there (were) so the answer should be in plural not singular. Answer should be B. You can't say the cat were drinking milk, it has to be cats. So I think you made an error in this question.

Hi sir. In question #15, the answer should be letter B - Deers, rather than A - Deer. The _____ were grazing when the lion attacked; "were" must have a plural noun, hence it should be deers, letter B. Thanks.
The word "Deers" is incorrect. I believe that the plural and singular form of Deer are the same. So the answer is just fine as it is. :)
Donut Kiddo Yeah, it appears you’re right. Although, some have accepted “deers” as plural, but this is considered informal and incorrect in dictionaries I read. Moreover, a group of deer should be “a herd of deer”, how does this one play out?

The question itself is incorrectly written, it should either be The ___ WAS or the HERD of deers WERE to specify that the question is talking about a multiple of deers
Nope. "Deer" is the current standard/formal plural form of "deer", whereas "deers" is still limited to informal/colloquial/non-academic usage, and even then it's still fairly rare. You'll have to wait a hundred years or so before it becomes correct even in academia, and even then, they'd just be both correct. It'll take a couple hundred years before "deer" as a plural form completely dies out in relevant usage.

Collective noun po yung Microsoft and may rule kung kelan mo sya gagamitin na singular or plural. Singular if the team within that group are doing the same thing, Plural naman kung nasa isang group nga sila pero iba iba ginagawa nila. Sa case nung Microsoft, collective noun sya pero iisa lang yung gagawin nung mga taga Microsoft. Kapag may unity singular yung gagamitin, therefore It is po yung answer.

Sa Question no. 15 po diba po ang sagot ay "deers"? Kasi ang "were"ay past tense and plural form sya. Kaya dapat, "The deers were grazing when the lion attacked." Tama po ba? I'm willing to learn po, correct me if i'm wrong. Kasi kung "deer" without s yung answer diba dapat, "The deer was grazing when the lion attacked." ?? Was is singular and were is plural depende sa subject.b
Well, from what I know the plural form of deer is also deer, though some use deers. But during our elementary days, we were taught that deer is one of the special nouns, using deer as the plural form too.

In my opinion lng po.. i am not an English guru pero ung apathy and antipathy are both antonyms.. apathy means indifference or lack of concern and being apathetic.. while on the other hand.. antipathy means a strong feeling of dislike which means these are not correlated and synonymous to the word Benign and the other choice like (A. & B).
I hope someone may give me answers with clarity..

Based on my understanding, apathy is the closest antonym to benign. Since benign is defined as a mild type or character that does not threaten health or life, it focuses on relationship aspect. If you have apathy, you're most likely to care less about people which leads to immoral acts. On the other hand, antipathy is just a feeling of dislike towards someone. You can both dislike a person, but at the same time care for their safety. I hope I explained it well ^V^.

I guess applicable rin sya for SHS admission test. Noong nagtake kasi ako ng PLV-SHSAT yung nireview kong UPCAT reviewer sya rin ang lumabas sa test ko. So yeah, UPCAT reviewer is for SHS also.
