I was there for that race. It was absolutely surreal to watch in real time. Even without the finish it was a great race. The battle for the stage 2 finish is often forgotten about.

I'm a boomers thank you. Sure these finishes are exciting. That's why they are on highlights. My issue with NASCAR is the hours and hours of crashes and restarts before the finish. Not to mention the inconsistent driver penalties and the whining of the sports most famous drivers. I love most of the sport but it coukd be tweaked for a better fan viewing experience.
