G2 didn't have the NRG to make it to the Quarterfinals.
Can they win worlds? Yes, if DRX can do it, then G2 should most certainly be able to do it. How likely is it with teams like JDG and GenG at the peak of their power? Quite difficult, but if the stars allign and they step up in the 5v5's I see them having a real chance
G2 doesnt have a player that can do what Zeka did tho, like be honest with urself do you see any G2 player being the best individual player in this entire tournament?
I think they can they just need to sto drafting like if they playing in EU, they need to play for caps and bot lane, I think BB doing a wonderul job as well so does yike but stop drafting so bad against big names that wont forgive this kinds of draft

Luckily with worlds its a month long so plenty of teams can fall or grow to the occasion
Nobody talks about the front 3 games going great for the west. Then the break allowing analysts to do their thing. The the west goes 0/3 on the back half. It doesn't matter how good you are if all your strats are hard countered when a proper analyst get some time

@@iAdzii Yeah, but there is a night and day difference between a 1st seed and a 4th seed. DK is an amazing team, but it's like saying you could win an NBA championship because you beat the Timberwolves, one of the worst teams in the NBA. The cope has to stop.

They probably are not winning worlds. However, they def are making it top 8, if we get lucky with the draw on top 8 and play one of the weaker top 8 teams we might make it to top 4. I don't see a way for them to beat the JDG, Gen. G, LNG type teams.
Even after there loss to NRG I still think G2 can at least deal damage even if they do not win Worlds.
Ok, let's be honest... Against a more contained team which can actually play cohesive teamfights, G2 has no chance. DK made it into worlds through qualifiers. Let's not count our chips in until we beat at least a 2nd seed from LCK or LPL.
I would say it would be harder but I think G2 teamfights are insane
