My husband and I have recently discovered your channel and you have quickly become our favorite food/travel channel! We especially appreciate that you speak to the locals in their own language, but we also love how you take time to describe the tastes and textures of the food so carefully. ᮛᮇᮞ᮪ (Raos)! Lontong kari is probably one of my favorite breakfasts whenever I’m in Sundanese areas. Another one would be Doclang from Bogor, which is not that common in Bandung. Il cibo sundanese probabilmente non è il mio preferito tra gli altri tipi di cucina indonesiana, ma ha un valore sentimentale per me personalmente. Thank you for visiting Bandung and trying out Sundanese food!

@@AbroadandHungry Yes, spices in Lontong Kari makes it not a typical Sundanese dish, really. Another favorite of mine from West Java is Empal Gentong which is beef in what I’d describe as a light curry, something that is not that common in Sundanese food although normal in other Indonesian cuisines.
