My name is Ewan Cunningham, I'm from Falkirk, Scotland. I'm an 18 year old, self taught musician. I started playing drums at the age of 4 and I'm now a multi-instrumentalist playing drums, guitar, bass, keyboards and vocals. I've been teaching myself to mix, record, film, edit and produce music since I was 10 years old and this is my passion.
This is a drum cover of "Roxanne" by The Police from their 1978 album "Outlandos d'Amour".

Something a bit different this week. Rediscovering an old classic that I used to listen to a lot when I was a kid. Hope you enjoy! Ok, You may hate me for giving you this challenge. But I think the whole quadrophenia album by the who as a playlist would be a great challenge to you. Me personally, its probably my favorite album and I always put it on when Im going for a long drive. One of my water polo team mates always listened to that album before a game to pump him up. I have tried to master a lot of it but I really want to see a more professional do it first. it would seriously mean a lot if you could think about doing this for not only me but fellow who fans.

Is it only your drumming we hear or do you play on top of the drums on the track so we hear both? Dont mean to critize your drumming, you seem like a solid drummer, but I do hear several crashes for example that I dont see you play. I am right now learning to play this song thats why I ask.

How did you record the sound of drums?
He didn't. It's Stewart Copelands drums (the original track). You can tell because there are certain things you can hear that he isn't doing.
