Orc played really nicely. Kept you busy while he expoed and teched. Riflecaster vs Chainwave is a throwback to 20 years ago. You needed to prioritise more healscrolls but always hard vs Orc with levels. Also, scroll of regeneration still has amazing value for 100 gold after a chainwave, even during combat. If it lingers on even half of your army afterwards it is insane. Not that I'm pro or anything!
I understand Garathos a bit better now.... 16789 elves in the army and all the weight is being carried by 2 dwarfs, Mountain king and that single riflemen and a decrepit human grandpa.
Really liked this highly dynamic, beefy, unpredictably exciting game, just wish it would last longer but either way it has plenty of fun. GGs to players for a inventive and resilient play. Indeed, this was a game full of a War-Craft.
Dang, even though killing the Taurean over and over again give you a lot of exp they still hit like a truck and takes a while to bring them down. Maybe dark ranger or fire lord could have removed their corpses? EDIT: For people that don’t know and asking why grubby didn’t transition to dragonhawk for the zepplin a reminder is that Aerial Shackle DO NOT work against Mechanical units like Zepplin or Flying Machines (not sure if anyone played the campaign in recent years but the second Blood Elf mission you have access to hawk but they were mediocre against the undead because of destroyers and the “Sky Barges” which are mechanical)
I never understand why it's easier to deal with the zeppelin drops through constant reinvestment instead of making a building and creating a single Dragonhawk?

Loved the dig at Ger/Fra at the beginning - and don't ask anybody from Greece or the Balkans! People curious about what Grubby's quip referred to - how the EU has operated (as a stretch, you could say that the powerful countries have used friendly-fire pillage or vampiric aura on the smaller countries thru the mechanisms of EU's debt establishment) - you can't find a much better voice than Yanis Varoufakis afaik. Varoufakis is the former finance minister of Greece, who's gifted at breaking things down for intuition thru the use of illustrative language. There's a vid where he did this particularly well that I listened to several months ago, where he addressed Australian press. I think he also talks about possible alternative systems for certain things in this video too, which I think are elaborated on in his most recent book, "Technofeudalism." But there are tons of of talks and interviews with Varoufakis on RUclips; one is probably safe to check whatever title catches interest
Yea in this situation grubby really needed corpse removal. Humans only really have mortar team which grubby can’t transition into so maybe a dark ranger or firelord. Silence would also been helpful against the walkers (even if they have resistant skin)
Question - when you cast invisibility on peasants and they collect gold from mine does it break the spell? If not then casting invi on peasants would be funny :D

Hi guys I started playing verus wc3 recently as an orc. Those anybody have a tips how to stop cryptlord or basic ubded rushing you lvl 2. It seems that i cant protect my borrows and blocking it of its more of the downside for me cuz he has so much units and its always surrounding me.
You needed to watch some of Grubby's guide videos and learn how to optimize burrow placement, learn how many peons to send into burrows and have some on repair. Being able to micro will help greatly. Orc have strong heroes to help fend off early rush with their aoe or summons. Grunts are also stronger than ghouls or beetles.
I'm very confused by Grubbys plays this game, like he says the enemy goes hard into headhunters, but he didn't produce any more defend footies than usual, maybe anticipating the switch, but why would the guy switch if his units are already very good against casters? Or why didn't Grubby build a dragonhawk the moment the guy went for zep plays, the game could have been over rather fast if he shackles the thing above a forest?
1. footies are not a good unit overall, their only use would be for countering hhs and creeping, sorcs allow picking hhs one by one, counter hit-and-run tactics together with priests 2. the gryphon aviary costs something, has a production time and the dragonhawk has a production time as well. By the time it was finished orc would have already gotten his use out of the zep by forcing a tech branch out for almost free. Towers help both zep tactics and late game defense. The moment orc sees the gryphon aviary he can stop using zep and use the lead of wasted money on aviary - It was a judgement call tho, hawk could have been the right call, it was my first thought too
It's a bit disappointing, you're expecting some kind of moral or climax, but there isn't one. And the avatar only worked once. You ate a lot of tauren, but they were stronger than the experience they gave you.
Next Grubby balance patch: Buff peasants, rifle, caster. Nerf farseer, TC, walkers. Fair is fair grubby 🙏 Ngl by the 19th minute mark I would of broke my keyboard.
Let this be a lesson to *ALL human players that I see doing this for no apparent reason:* ... When you get MK lvl 5 against Orc, always, ALWAYS, *ALWAYS* go Storm Bolt lvl 3 !! So many missed opportunities for G after his MK got 5 because he skilled Clap 3 instead of Bolt 3 !! Missed hero kills... missed Tauren kills... etc. Meanwhile Clap barely even *TICKLED* the bulky Orc units... ... What a waste of a skill point, really... ~_~ Shame, because *EVEN THUS,* G still had a chance, if not for risky and dumb hero losses... .
Grubby Paladin 3rd hero would be much better than 2 riffle and 1 sorc Im also impressed how you can just not buy orb of fire or boots of speed on mountain or sell bash gloves to buy scroll of healing Personally i wish to have your level of army control with my own strategies
He was only tier 2 and was all in at that middle expo. In grubbys mind tier 3 was a few units/potions and towers at the middle expo that he needed to hold the middle expo.

No the orc definitely have some micro as he ethereal form his walkers pretty effectively to save them

I can’t remember if it requires castle upgrade or not.
