I can't count how many different style E bikes are getting around town here in outer south east Melbourne suburbs..I recently met a chap who has an E bike off road fat bike style thing and it has a top speed of 80kmh. He rides around the local bush park. Not at that speed of course. And apparently it easily do a distance of 80 kilometres.😮
Wr 450f 2 trac (not 250 like you say in the video)is an absolute pig, I know because I have one. You would think that if you lose traction in the back the front would compensate but no, it just stops. And the way it pulls on turns is just inconsistent , shame because reportedly the two R1's with this system had better times than the normal one and it was also race tested on the tt-r 600, it even won some races! Its for sure related with having no "fluctuations" in the traction levels.( I don't know anything about the yz 250 that had been used has mules for this project) Anyway since 2009 that there was a shift in yamaha, they don't innovate or care about making anything good they just want something for the wanabee, don't believe me? look at anything that has that disgrace that is the cp3 or cp2 engine or the explosive clutch components in the yfz 450r. In the bicycle department will be the same thing, they will make amazing prototypes and show something amazing almost like an incarnation of the 2006 YZ 450 F with pedals but in the end the production model will be something overpriced that will snap in half mid run an "A line" Ps: this is my opinion and to the keyboard warriors that say that is a skill issue, well I do hard enduro events and if you want to meet me in person pm me and we could meet in one of my events that I organize in Portugal or something like Xl lagares.
