This is one of those cases for me of "You didn't know you needed it until you see it." I'll be getting both Silverwolf and Samurai Saber for my decks. Since I already have Dran Buster I'll have my full deck that I want and only need to test with Ratchets and bits
They were smart to make the bey a normal bey. If they included a new bey it would skyrocket in value and scalpers can take advantage of it. So they made the stadium the only special thing
That's not going to stop them, especially with how many truly limited edition beys are TT only (the rare bey get battle beys and tournament parts for example).
I love the non exclusive beys being shared between Hasbro and TT. Keeping things even across the globe opens up opportunity for possible international events or people to travel internationally to play without people having to get beys from the region to be "competition legal"
The DBX Stadium has a different shape for the arena too if you watch that overhead video: it's more of an oval squished vertically rather than horizontal.
i agree about the wolf being .... boring. even take a look at savage bears motif and it looks aggressive the fact that the wolf is just a portrait of a wolf seems very boring.
Awesome video as always, man!! Beyblade X just continues to bless us with more hype releases!! While I'm not too crazy about the stadium I do like those blue rails, and I don't have Savage Bear yet... Definitely want Samurai and Wolf! I'm glad they're starting to dip their toes in the water with gimmick parts but, like you said hopefully they don't go TOO crazy with it like they did in MFB, but it is fun to see some random yolo parts thrown in the mix every once in a while. Either way we're hyped for Season 2!! Let's get it!!!
Is it just me or does free balls tip feel extended compared to regular ball? Idk it looks off, as if it's slimmer and more on an extended piece with a round tip...?
Help me think through this. If free ball bit spins without clicking, wouldn't it not catch the x dash rail? I thought the tension from the part that causes the clicking allowed the weight of the blade to push itself along the great teeth in the stadium? If it spins freely, then hypothetically, when the bey contracts the rail, the weight and momentum of the spinning won't be able to transfer to the rail. Meaning it should just kind of bump against the dash rail and sink back to the center of the stadium.
My hot take on samurai saber is its going to be a more defensive rod like bey with those blades out but extremely aggressive like shark edge with the blades in. Will be the best blade if done right.
I’m looking forward to Samurai Sabers release. I want to see if the Hold Launcher will work best with my custom launch better than the Winder or String launchers
I think the new arena may be a skip but its hard to gauge it without seeing it in action. The reason im thinking skip is because the battles are already hectic without an inner ring.
I like the wolf well enough. I agree with ur point but it still looks far better than the Phoenix on Rudder Phoenix which is horrible imo. I think stock Bushin Ashindra is a better comparison for this Wolf. Both have freespinning elements that are not the key contact points (which wyverns is)
Might be the first motorized stadium that could actually be kinda cool. Will have to see how it works. I kinda like the super charge thing. As long as you don't super charge self ko. Lol Love me some Wolborg as well. Definite must buy. Samurai looks kinda bad. But who knows what the weight and ratchet/bit are. Probably will put something useful on it so it sells.
This may be a hot take but i kinda prefer steel samurais design over the ux samurai. I like the logo design a lot more and the color scheme. Ik its a leon claw reskin but the design looks really nice.
I wonder if you can turn off the stadium in one of the positions and make it so it’s just one type of stadium instead of it changing. But also on free ball there is this the side things that make it click so I don’t think that it won’t click
I'm not very excited about these future beys. I joyned Beyblade X for its immediacy and the simplicity of the beys, both in design and gameplay. All these new gimmicks don't give me hope: plastic wheels that turn separately, blades that come in and out, bits that will also have gimmicks. I'm afraid that what made me turn away from Beyblade (useless features and extra pieces that only complicated things) are about to return, making the purchases I have made so far obsolete from a competitive perspective.

Hmmm my theory is that samurai saber gimmick is that if you launch it hard enough the blade will come out and when it slows down it will goes back in or vice versa. I really hope this is the case i dont want another ragnarok gimmick since it really doesn't work out too well. I hope the gimmick is inspired from on let say archer hercules or shelter Regulus
My wizard arrow can freespin, what takara tomy doing here? Context: i bought wizard arrow at a walmart and noticed the bit was unusually loose, being that it can free spin better than most beys i got Low and behold i look inside the ratchet and saw i got a misprint, the ratchet teeth that holds onto the bit it missing an entire tooth, the injection molding didnt fill in the last tooth So now i have a freespinning wizard arrow with the most horrendous burst resistance youve ever seen, and i love it So by that logic, silver wolf is gonna SUUUUUUCK by not having any burst resistance, might as well have put Hex on it, atleast it has high resistance
@nuc True, but i feel like without any contacts for the teeth to actually grip onto would still mess with its resistance, idk, would have to actively test the beyblade to find out also why put a free spinning part on a bit like ball? its now a stamina type that cant extreme dash even tho thats kinda already the point of stamina types wouldve been better if they pulled a benchblade and have given us a bearing drive bit
The wolf bitbeast looks fantastic!! What looks cheap are all the hasbro marvel collabs and Yell Kong and Savage Bear. Those beys look atrocious like a childrens drawing. And even the dragon on dagger dran looks cheesier than Silver Wolf
I don't mind the gimmicks I just hope they don't go over 40 grams, obviously 38.5 should be the max in my opinion to cerb power creep, but I feel like 40 would be ok for a couple beys along as it has bad distribution
That is literally free spin.... if it does not click... that is free spin. It freely spins with no resistance which might make it not ride the extreme line. It may just be able to catch and atay put. Like why do you always sound unimpressed with this stuff? Are you actually into this or what? Imagine the bey hitting the extreme line and staying where it is or remaining on the outside of the center? It would be safe from attack types hiting the line and zipping to the center. An with a ball bit it would be a phenomenal stamina bey. The Xtreme line would be cutting it's endurance down.

Theres a good chance samurai saber gimmick is similar to Cho Z lock Hard launch go pop out the sword, and a hard hit on it will pop it back in Its early UX gimmick bey so you should be thinking about it more simplified
my thought for FB was that just the ball part of the bit so right under the teeth/gears, is where the freespin part would be, but i have no idea how they'd manufacture that with how bits usually are tbh

Most prob a switch that you can turn off while the inside x line is lowered down effectivley turning it into a normal bey x stadium.

Well, the missing parts of the ratchet is the problem. The little teeth part of the bit doesn’t do anything for burst resistance.
