It’s like witnessing the bridge from Aphrodite’s Child 666. linking to the Earth Album. What a rare performance and contrary to Vangelis’ assertion that he wasn’t into doing TV performances.
I'm sure that the women were ready for Vangelis after the show, but then again even a man like Vangelis surely needed a long break from feminine adoration....maybe
What an empty-irrational comment comparing his appearance to Jeff Lynne's 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼 If only he were a fifth of V's hip (not to mention the essential here which is V's own musical style )
Well… first time I saw the video posted here I clicked it unconsciously expecting some bizarre “The Move” or early “ELO” tv performance 😁… his look resembled a lot Jeff’s one in those days. Anyway, being both an ELO fan in my youth, and a Vangelis “believer“ for the rest of my life, I can state that Jeff Lynne had his own bright moments in musical history, but of course nothing to do with Vangelis‘s majesty, he wasn’t human, he was more related to any of his Ancient Greek gods.
Ca reste malgré tout, assez peu digne d’intérêt, peu évocateur et me fait penser à l'écume molle et terne des vagues qui s’affaissent sous un ciel grondant et fuligineux!...

That musical bridge in "Let it Happen" is just cosmically dreamy. It touches my soul!😊
Main melody is from officially unreleased album The Dragon
Ας Αναπαυθεί Εν Ειρήνη ο Ευάγγελος.
R. I. P Evagelos.
Amazing! Cosmic!
Vangelis a true music genius R.I.P
❤I LIKE SO MACH VANGELIS AND DEMIS !! ALWAYS WONDERFUL ARTISTS❤❤
Καλό Παράδεισο, Ευάγγελε!

The best one....R.I.P. Maestro....
Well worth riding out the dodgy video tracking. Absolutely fantastic.
I think it adds to the experience LOL
Que buen tema !!!
What a groove!
"baby all you gotta do, is let the rythm get to you"
Wowwwwwwww!!!!!❤
Even these videotape glitches are beautiful!
The singer in the second part is FR DAVID (words don't come easy)... a french singer.
No! Fr David?… OMG!!!… life always surprise’s you! Thank you!
Vangelis looking like Jeff Lynne! VLO = Vangelis Light Orchestra!
Really awesome!!!!
This is awesome!!!!!!
Middle section is bad ass
Just amazing evangelos !! king of impro !
Very impressive! Tracklist:1. The Dragon.2. Let It Happen.Vocals - Robert Fitoussi (F.R. David).
This is so essentially 1970s and so cool!
Perfect
Just pure love
F.R David? The French guy who made the hit "Words don't come easy"?!Didn't know he played with Vangelis, and i have 80% of Vangelis albums !
Always amazing these cross connections
King
Wow!
Quite a find.
The first song was ''The Dragon'' and not ''Let it happen''. Unfortunatelly ''Let it happen'' is playback guided with some female vocals at the back.
awesome how Vangelis plays the ARP Pro soloist!
not a pro soloist but a clavioline
Vangelis is geweldig. Ben reeds meer dan 40 jaar een heeeele grooooote fan. Greetings from Belgium. Dirk.
@@MrGiloine THANK YOU
Marvellous visual document. The first part is the concert after the training filmed in ``vangelis studio clip 2´´ (or 1?)
The first part of this is The Dragon from The Dragon
1974
The melody is the same as The Dragon
so the bass-guitar guy with high voice and moustache is FR. david?,
Wjen V. was obsessed with percussion. And why not? Pme of the thongs that appealed to Jon Anderson, apparently.
any chance to get the full video vob files? pm me please
thanks anyway
AÑO????
1973

I see a young Dominique Mahut on the right side.
