Me again, lol I made a single batch tonight because my oldest granddaughter was complaining about a lip balm that I made for them. She said she wanted something softer because the lip balm was hard lol. Do you happen to have a lip balm formula that isn't that hard? I added cedilla wax, mango , hokum, and avocado butters and some grapeseed oil. Anyhoo to your lip oil recipe that I whipped up I added a lip sweetener along with Strawberry Lemonade from Get Suckered. I might added a tad too much of the sweetener and about 9 half droppers of the lip flavor to taste lol. I was able to fill 4 ml, 3ml, and 2 small plastic tubes. I poured the lip oil a tad warm hopefully that was ok. I will leave them open all night so the could cool completely. So sorry for the long message.
Hello you have to follow the recipe as is in the description, when you add more or different stuff thats not in the recipe you have a chance of altering the recipe. Candelillia wax is harder than Carnauba wax, you more than likely used too much. You really have to play with the recipe! I may do a video with Candelillia wax with the recipe and measurements because formulation is so important. 🙂 I will def. Do this video using a different wax. The butters also will make it harder as well. Please let me know if you need anymore tips💜💜💜
@@bodybutterscreations I think you misunderstood my message. The butters and candelilla wax were used in lip balm recipe I made weeks ago. The only think I added to yours was a little lip sweetener and the lip flavoring. Thank you for responding to my message.

I understand that using beeswax will change the texture, but are there any other effects or changes I should expect? Could you help me with this? thanks before ❤

But I would definitely say that you could possibly lessen the amount of beeswax to the wax that I put inside of the video. That's probably the only way you can get a bit of a lighter consistency. Because Beeswax is super thick.
Hello, I would use the same amount of wax in the video. But try doubling the oil amount by x 2 in the recipe. To see if that helps, I dont use that wax but the more oil the to wax changes the consistency of the product

Thank you! Yes I have recently tried it in one of my DIY videos. I think its ok it just adds extra thickness to the formula!
