KUDOS Jo for giving credit where credit's due! I've been watching everyone do the optical ombre but Dorota was the only one with the twist. I loved how ecstatic she was when she first did it! I was waiting for you to do a video 'cause I enjoy your videos more than anyone else's. Woo hoo! Now, here's the thing: no one has done the swoops with the second ombre starting from the right...all start from the left. So...whattaya say, Jo?!! ;-)

I did a nail with the reverse french ombré in the set on my current nails and was at first crapping a brick as I thought it was going to be really hard to do but was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was and how much I enjoyed doing it! Definitely want to play about with different patterns too. I'd say to others have a go as it is easier than you think it is. Love this set and the little touch of gold really finishes it. The clouds and stars nails is super duper cute 🥰 xxx

I can't do ombre's to save my life, and I suck at French tips, so this trend, while absolutely beautiful, would be an epic disaster for me. 😂 I think yours is my favorite so far. I've seen the original design, and I've seen the one swoop design, but you took it even higher. Your set came out absolutely perfect. And the gold? Perfect touch!

I watched Dorota Palickca do it and her hand shook and it accidentally moved the brush and it ended up making that “twist” she was so happy with that “mistake” and I’ve been watching everyone copying it since, she is an amazing artist, and I only watch you and her as I don’t see anyone else with the art work skills the both of you have.

I would do them exactly the same. You might need to turn the client's hand over, and get them to put their fingers back towards them if you need to work 'backwards' like when I turn the nail around to do the smile line. If the nails are short, just make sure to use a smaller brush to swipe away/carve out the shape on the 2nd ombré if the nails are smaller. Hope that all makes sense!
These are amazing!! They remind me of the super complicated reciprocal gradients that Simply Nailogical used to do back in the day with regular polish and vinyls, but made SO much easier with gel polish! So cool!!
