Lucy is an absolutely beautiful sampler and I look forward to receiving her. It is always such a pleasure to visit with you Nicola!! Thanks as always! Have a fabulous week and happy stitching!
I can not say enough regarding Hand & Lock, what a fabulous group to work with and speedy as well for stitchers in the USA like me. They assisted me with some fabulous goldwork/silverwork pieces as well as ideas for a Casket I am creating. they are a wonderful group of stitchers and I am so happy that you mentioned them. Cheers!
We just traveled to Germany to spend Christmas and New Year's with our son and daughter-in-law. BUT first we flew from Washington, DC to San Francisco and then to Germany because our first flight was delayed and caused an issue... What a long way around to get here! Thankfully we are experienced travelers and it was fine but it sure was tiring! I'm so glad I saved this video to have my coffee with this first morning in Germany! Have a very happy Christmas and wonderful New Year!
Another great video. You are my favorite. I love, love your style in everything!!! You are truly an inspiration. I just hope I have a chance to meet you in person.
I'm glad you have stuck to your guns by releasing another limited edition sampler, and not given in to intimidation. I hope joy will return gradually for you
Had to stop the video and go order Lucy Barber. We share the same birthday, Nov 27. I’ve been waiting for this to be reproduced since you first shared it. Thank you for charting her.
In the US, I found the magazine Houses and Antiques on my library’s Libby app (the overDrive app that offers books, audiobooks and magazines). While this is a choice of my library system, maybe others carry it, too!
My favorite Sunday morning video time! I enjoy hearing and seeing everything you talk about, but I most enjoy the history behind the samplers - I find it fascinating that such young girls were so talented! And I was one of the lucky ones to order that lavender case from Hobby House Needleworks - it's my Christmas present to myself. Happy stitching!
Thank you for sharing the stories behind the samplers. Like you, I enjoy learning about the girls and women that stitched in the past. Looking forward to stitching Lucy Barber…bought a kit with DMC, which I will probably convert to overdyed cottons, as soon as I could! Glad you and Ray had a wonderful time on your trip.
Thanks Nicola! I purchased some cohana scissors based on you review and love them. They are a work horse. I cut all sorts of floss and fabric with them. They are beautifully designed too. I may have to splurge for the larger pair soon. Have a great week!
Like looking on social Media, watching you is always dangerous!! 🤣🤣😳 I’ve ordered Lucy, of course - she IS a bobby-dazzler!! As are you, my friend. Have a lovely lunch with Ray at the Club. Enjoy your life to the fullest! Love your new scissors and the pretty, red box. Temptress!! Love to all the boys and to you. ❤️😘
Given the title of this video, will pass on it today. Recent videos have focused a lot on Cohana and other expensive accessories. Prefer the emphasis on samplers and stitching, even if that means a shorter video.
I, personally, enjoy all aspects of Nicola's videos...learning about Cohana products and other needlework accessories adds to my knowledge of what is available in the market...as the expression goes, I can read the menu but not necessary order dessert!!! Yours in needlework, Patricia

I ordered Lucy Barber from Traditional Stitches as soon as it was available. Looking forward to stitching this in 2023.

I also loved the lilac Hand and Lock boxes! The fabric on them and the zipper pull are so cool.

Привіт Нікола,сьогодні розпакувала поштовий пакунок з семплером Флоренс.Дуже рада його мати , щеб підібрати тканину і можна вишивати хрестики.
Will the Greek sampler be a release?
The sampler will be part of a special project that we are preparing for late spring of 2023

Wow 1st one to comment.

That’s a shame as I talk about samplers at length in the video.

What a shame you felt it necessary to comment on something you didn't watch!
