ACA P-50/ASC RM-135 Siren Test: Memphis, TN (Cordova)

This siren is located in Cordova, Tennessee at the intersection of Germantown Pkwy and Trinity Pkwy.
This test was recorded on Saturday, December 28, 2002. This is part of Memphis's city-wide noon test which was moved to Wednesdays at 3:30pm in the summer of 2003.
Memphis has three P-50s/RM-135s.
Another one is located on Hungerford Rd next to the rail yard, and the other near 3966 Sewanee Rd.
The outer section of horn went missing in 2011. Shortly thereafter, the city removed siren and had it restored. It was painted yellow and a new wire mesh was fitted on front. The outer portion of horn was not replaced. Recent recordings of this siren indicate it was reverse wired after reinstallation as the sound is not at potent as it once was.
