Rencontre : Leonor Fini ou l’art de s’inventer

Les historiennes d’art Andrea Kollnitz et Sacha Llewellyn s’entretiennent autour de la vie et de l’œuvre de Leonor Fini, et plus particulièrement de l’art de s’inventer. La première, rattachée à l’Université de Stockholm, publie un livre intitulé *Becoming Leonor Fini. Theatrical Self-Performances between Art and Life* (Bloomsbury), et la seconde, fondatrice de RAW (Rediscovering Art by Women), a contribué à l’exposition *Surréalisme au féminin ?* présentée en 2022 au Musée de Montmartre.

Great presentation and I really enjoyed that discussion afterwards. Even now, there's so little to watch and read on Fini.
That Yvan Butler video (mentioned) is excellent though, truly... it has the most amazing "So What?" comment, made while LF's head moves into incrementally different positions in a mirror; "I paint mostly women because they are a projection of myself. That's a basic truth. Because I am mostly interested in myself, and women are me."
