Is it not true you opened up your soul & then agreed to marry me?
Send me back into the calming embrace of a once loved heart that gave me life
Emotional connection feeding the heart strings, but you were always my wife
I never faded from your mind, you simply let go because it is what you needed to do
Fighting your own decisions of ignorance or confusion, but I will always love & need you
The Manchild stares at the burning sphere, that ray of light that once gave me hope
Upon this unbearable sadness without you, one soul hanging from a very thin rope
