  • A nice little radio from the famous former german radio-brand "Nordmende" which used to be based in Bremen, Germany. Now it is a sub-brand of "Technisat" located in Daun, Eifel. The built in Li-Ion battery (1.000 mAh) makes it portable and bluetooth very versatile for listening to audios from your smartphone or PC. The design reminds me on some "Braun" products from that time.

I like how the clock on the Nordmende and Sangean are perfectly synchronized.

    Good evening Sir,
i really like the atmosphere of your videos ... Especially those where there is a staging (the one on the sangean ddr-31 is my favorite :) ) ... Cool jazz atmosphere with a glass of whiskey. ..But I was wondering, have you kept all the radios you showed us and which ones do you use the most on a daily basis ?

Thank you Luigi! Due to copyright issues on youtube I have to do "reviews" with only very short sound-bits or I do the "soundcheck" videos where I use copyright free music from the youtube musiclibrary. Right now I kept the Sangean DDR-47 - as you can see in the background - the geneva touring/s+ and the sangean WR-11 (which is still my personal favorite and used most I guess). The other radios I have sold on ebay or just send them back in time or gifted them to friends & family (like this one). It is a nice hobby since two years and the lockdown has done it thing to it.

@@dirkmuller8461 Thanks a lot for your answer. Indeed, I understand, copyright issues on youtube are really annoying, not easy to deal with!
      Yes, you're right, it's a great hobby ! I also have several radios (roberts rd70, panasonic rf-d30, grundig tr2500 ..)
      Have a good evening :)
