I was moved to tears at the end when Tab says ' I am glad to be forgotten' at that moment, it seemed more than a farewell to the industry...but, a farewell to this world.
Saw this film last evening in Philadelphia. A very well done documentary. And, the man himself made a public appearance at the event. He was most charming and gracious.
I never heard of him but decided to watch anyway and I'm glad I did. The documentary was thought provoking, honest and beautiful. Tab is the definition of quiet strength.
I remember seeing Tab Hunter and having a big big crush on him. The documentary was well done and available on Netflix. It's a great film about the Hollywood heart throb Tab Hunter!
A real and interesting person of talent all the way around who worked hard and enjoyed himself and somehow managed to survive fame. What a balancing act.
An interesting documentary. Well made. That period in Hollywood was a challenge. Tab in those early years was such a gorgous man. Still gorgous now to be fair. Watch this.
Tab is here on RUclips in a very dramatic tv production directed by John Frankenheimer, with Charlton Heston, Vincent Price, about the cold war. He plays a Russian spy. He has no trouble with dramatic roles. Look it up...I can't think of the show, but it was a prestige show on once a week. Nothing but stars.
The story goes Rock Hudson was about to be outed by the press. So the studios offered up Tab Hunter instead as Rock Hudson was too valuable to lose. That's what I heard back in the day.
RIP?? why can't people take the time and spell it out!? geez. Aren't people worth more than an acronym? I never understood this. Seems so disrespectful and insincere.

I truly enjoyed this documentary, too. It's playing now on am prime
Some actors are hot for their time period. He's hot no matter what decade it is. Lol.
Very True!!
So true
He's certainly kept his good looks. On top of that, he's a nice person.
Exactly! Ageless beauty, just like Paul Newman
Because he’s a good person on the inside too

Great screen legends never fade away. Tab is proof of that.

Mr. Hunter was one of the Realest people in the world. His life was very interesting and he handled his life very well.
What a great life, and after watching your documentary, what a great person!
Funny if those actors hadn't come out themselves, some people would have been dismissed and labeled as "conspiracy" nuts.
Just like they do with Larry
Wow! I never seen such a beautiful face like this

Really?!
pure legend
RIP Tab Hunter
I really think that Billy Magnussen would be an excellent choice to play Tab Hunter if they ever decide to do a biopic.
He is gorgeous
RIP Tab Hunter July 2018
Wasn't he something in 1958's " Damn Yankees ,!" opposite the great Ray Walston .
truthbetoldagain yes!

If you ever meet a guy smart enough to say lost in the dust could work, marry him.
