I know Tina S.. She is my best friend in college. She has not stopped playing but only played on her free time. She is now focusing on her studies to pursue a career on medicine.
It's really strange. Because she just desapeared from internet, not just youtube. No one find even a photo of her. Even old people have social media. But she has none. The mistery about her is killing me. I was a big fan.
From what I gathered she went to college and got a degree in law. Recently graduated. I'd say she was loving the music and enjoying herself and when time came for college she probably had lots going on mentally and physically. I don't know why she didn't say goodbye or post anything but she probably was 100 on her career. She has the tools to be one if not the greatest guitarists ever and also a degree that will make lots of money. If I had my guess she's like many who have several talents and she may love guitar but wanted to be a lawyer more or didn't want to burn out as guitarist and have nothing to fall back on. I just hope she knows she is one if not the best ever and we all love, miss and support her. I hope she gets settled in and we see a video pop up explaining some and see her post now and then. This social media can be tough people expect something different every day, week and along with school and or a job there isn't enough time do do everything and live somewhat of a personal life .

Two things I am sure of, 1 something wrong happened with her guitar teacher, who recorded all the videos, because she removed his name from all video descriptions !! 2 she founded a sound recording and music publishing company in November 2020
You know that for sure but you forgot the name of the company, did you? She runs a music business but her clients must not, under any circumstances, find out that she used to be a YT megastar? Very logical.
also, whats funny is that she hasn't uploaded a video in almost 6 years, but she is still gaining in fans and views! her youtube followers increase by 1000 about every 2 months and she gets 25,000 to 35,000 views every day! CRAZY at this rate, she will hit 200,000,000 views by the end of the year! 🙂
From what I remember. Back in 2016/2017. She was fed up with "certain comments" and "certain messages" on Facebook and other socials. So she decided to quit uploading any stuff. Unfortunately - this is the internet. And when a woman does look good? You know the jazz... She wanted to get a degree and then go back to music but only anonymously in a studio. I hope she does great.
Well Lester, I've read a lot of comments on her uploads and one person said don't believe the bad rumors because they saw where she was setting up a studio on the outskirts of Paris. Another commenter said she is now a grade school teacher. Tina's guitar teacher and videographer "Renaud" said in comments that he hasn't had any contact with her since the last video and offered no further info. The person who keeps repeating the bad rumors also keeps changing their account name from "RUclips Investigations" to "Investigations" then to "Tino S" and perhaps others. One thing that's true is that we want more of her fantastic solos! 👸🎸👍😀
No wonder she left her channel after the vile and sexist comments she got. 1. She "doesn't feel" the music 2. It is fake 3. It is sped up / doctored / edited / "fixed" and not a real play 3. The guitar is not plugged to the amp. For the Dragonforce cover they used 2 takes ( they wanted a closeup of the headstock to show the logo since the guitar maker was sponsoring her and each of her Vigier guitars costs $4k minimum) and they had 1 camera only, and the haters went nuts because her hair moved between takes. This is a small summation of the vitriolic comments on her covers.
I read comments for years about her and yep there had to be a number of fools so totally envious of her at 8 years of age blowing her peers away. The ME generation again proves they have no class

There were some dumbass comments and this is extremely unfortunate. In today's world no matter what you do or say or stand for there will be some self anointed nitwit who thinks they are a gift from the heavens and be negative. But I hope that this negativity does not discourage Tina S and I hope we hear from her very soon. I miss her music and I wish her all the best in her adult life.
Here is my theory and that is all that it is. She is just laying low for a while. She is such a perfectionist that she is waiting to produce something that will wow the entire world.
To get to be as good as she is takes 100% focus 100% of the time. This alone says that Tina, when she sets her mind to something, will focus purely on that and not allow any distractions. That to me gives credibility to the theory of Tina going to college to pursue something different. If she has, she won't let comments and pleas to continue on social media to take any of her focus away.
How does anyone disappear? In this day of powerful search engines it seems like you would be able to find some hints. None of the people she worked with are saying anything. Vigier guitars made at least two custom guitars for Tina and sponsored her and has said nothing. She’s had more than one top notch guitar teachers and they have said nothing. Guitar Magazine did a profile of her back in the day and they have said nothing. If she’s in college, where’s the college? Do her college friends not talk about her? If she’s dead where’s her obituary? So much unanswered
The fact that nobody will say anything leads me to think either she has expressed to all who know her she wants to stop playing and doesn't want any fans to disrupt her in life or that something dubious has happened and she also doesn't want anyone to know about.
Good points you bring up. Let's not forget that for a child, becoming famous at a very young age can have a very dark side, especially in the music industry. And judging by the amount of disturbing and creepy comments by pervy men on her photos and videos, it seems this level of fame brought her a lot of unwanted attention. I just hope she was never taken advantage of or abused in any way.
I was poking around her channel and noticed that if you go to the playlist view there's a section that says "Other videos" and it says "Last Updated on Dec. 2, 2020". I'm not sure but was thinking this might mean she uploaded a private (non-public) video in Dec. 2020.
There is a new RUclips video of Tina S which is a collage of still photographs called "Tina S 2006-2016 her life" released about a week ago. At about the 3 min mark, I translated the French text which says that Tina in 2018 is at the school where her father works and she will be a student there in 2020. So this explains part of the mystery surrounding Tina S disappearing from RUclips I looked at the site where this video was posted and it contains more Tina S in her early days of playing both electric and acoustic guitar
I think she said FUCK IT. Never saw any joy from her in her playing. It seemed to me that she was a possible meal ticket for her family. She went through the motions, complete prodigy, yet walked from pressure from her instructor as well as family. I would not blame her in any aspect to have just walked. My only reference, sadly, is she was being used and had enough.

If you bothered to check any classically trained guitarist, you would see that very rarely they smile or do any other facial expression. Their art is in the music not if they can do silly grimaces. Please check guitarists like Ana Vidovic , John Williams or Andres Segovia. They are expressionless as if they are playing poker but their musicality is insane.

I saw Tina S, her IQ must over 160. So whatever she decided, will left us wondering but I believe Tina is enjoying her life now. Thanks for this comment btw!
Well I hope her well and maybe she’ll post again later.. As a guitarist I was in awe but you know sometimes we go a different route.. heck I didn’t play for years and had to get back into it later.. will keep an eye out for new uploads just in case..
I think sometimes people prefer to embrace more of a "creative" or even controversial explanation to such mysteries, and often plainly refuse to give consideration to something obvious such as a person simply passing away. Remember that even Herman Li of Dragonforce was unable to contact her in an attempt to invite her to play live on stage with the band whilst on tour in France. Perhaps viewers should just accept the fact that people of all ages can and do die, and given her sudden and complete disappearance, death may indeed be a feasible explanation. I sincerely hope I'm wrong, but it is a genuine possibility
And death is not a controversial reason?haha My explanation is that she is a very shy,introverted girl and just doesn't like too much attention, so she just quietly went away.
My hypothesis, based on her general demeanor she expresses in the videos... is that she's probably just a very private person. In 2007, and for quite a while after, RUclips wasn't really a place you'd go to achieve fame, and certainly not stardom. That sort of thing came later. Also, being 8, posting to RUclips herself was unlikely. Best guess, her Dad (and also guitar teacher) uploaded the videos. So my guess... she just didn't care for the attention. Once she turned 16 (age of legal accountability in France), she decided not to have her work go public anymore.
My guess is she finally got bored. I mean, when we're all puppets in comparison to her superior playing, yeah, she got bored and moved on to the rest of her life😊
Here is a wild, off-the-wall theory. She entered a convent. I say this as someone who promoted Tina & who she followed on social media, & who corresponded a little with her back when she was posting videos. A group of nuns from a French convent, obviously well-acquainted with Tina personally, used to like & discuss my Tina shares. I thought it was interesting & a bit strange at the time. I'm just putting this out here because I speculate about it to myself once in a while. Probably nothing to it.

She doesn't post anymore, but im sure she still play guitar, that girl loves the guitar, i can see that! That way she plays on her videos, that is passion you can see on her expressions she is feeling that! Well, hopefully she will get back one day posting amazing guitar playing again...

Well, some people don't want to be the new Michael Jackson, I know hat feels strange tp say in a world where everyone seems to be looking to be rich and famous, mainly rich. But I think she literally doesn't care about what others think, at all. The way she looks in those videos is almost unreal, like she doesn't care in the slightest, chewing gum while playing the most difficult guitar songs, that's saying something about her personality. But I'm not judging, quite the opposite, I think you're a real badass when you're one of the most talented guitar players ever but just start doing something else.
Peoples looking at all kind of weird reason and not stating the obvious which is probably the reason why. She got scared of the crazy overnight popularity and all the bad things that comes with being famous (Like crazy fans).
I spoke with her teacher on Facebook. He’s actually pretty cool and answered my question pretty quickly. He was arranging a huge guitar orchestra and I asked why Tina wasn’t a part of it. He said he invited her, but she declined. Aside from that, he’s had no other contact with in over 5 years. I was encouraged to see recent activity on her Facebook and RUclips accounts. But that was just housekeeping. I’m sure she still earns a tidy sum as her account is still monetized and continues to grow. And please, anyone who claims they are a close personal friend, please disregard this info. There some pretty infamous Tina trolls who claim to have inside buddy-buddy info. Disregard these claims and be grateful for the legacy she left behind, all created before she turned 18. I know, it’s interesting to speculate what she could have become. Some questions are supposed to have an answer.

She has so many fans in RUclips and she is so super talented player that it would be really nice if she only would tell something about her plans... If she doesn't want to upload anything that's okay by me but it would be really nice to know though.. And she wouldn't have to tell much. Only something so there wouldn't be room for all the speculation anymore. If there has been accident or something else serious I don't quite understand why that would be kept as a such secret.
Funny I found your video. I was JUST once again in awe of this young ladies ability and talent. She is certainly missed. I was under the impression that there were those EXPERTS out there in internet land who were very critical of her playing and style. Ya right like they can play RIGHT. So what I understood was Tina was on RUclips to share her enjoyment of playing and honestly why did she need to hear OPINIONS. As we all know opinions are like A-Holes. Everyone has one. This young lady was a shear pleasure to listen to and to watch. I miss her but I get it. Jealous people of questionable character. ( selfish losers ). I really do miss her.
Sudden disappearance with no words from her means she was receiving death threats from stalkers and had to quietly disappear for her own protection. She changed instruments and now plays under the name of Delta Empire who you will recognize has the same accuracy and attention to details that we all know and love.
Thought this was click bait Lester Mitchell, but it is not ...thanks for breaking the news. She set a mighty high bar doing covers. Sometimes it's best to go and stay away in a blaze of glory. But I'm prepared to be amazed. Original music will be a new huge challenge - perhaps she can still amaze us all. P.S. I was fairly certain she wasn't dead, LOL. I have heard that she acquired a law degree - who really knows?
she got a lot of hate on her videos in the beginning. I wouldn't be surprised if that was the reason she left. I didn't really see any positive comments until after she left.
She honestly has always looked either very bored or very uncomfortable in her videos while playing. It almost seems that she either at best not having very much fun or at worst may be being forced to perform in some way. She always just looks really sad while playing. She to me is like a guitar playing machine devoid of any human affect in her facial expression. My son was a gigging professional musician from age 15 to 18. He played in front of thousands of people for those 3 years. His passion for performing was unquenchable (or so we thought). I will tell you that the politics of music can crush a musician's spirit & passion to the point of ever wanting to do it again. When we moved to a new city my young son's aspiring musical career was sabotaged by much older veteran musicians that initially welcomed him & cemented him into their local scene. That all changed when youth prevailed & he started stealing their thunder & getting their fans from his endless energy & charisma. They then pulled the rug out from under him & he got blacklisted somehow from these same people. He is now 23 & works a regular 9-5 to support his family. He got so turned off by the whole scenario that he barely even plays as a hobby anymore. It's a fact that people leave the fickle world of performing music! Look at Vito Bratta from White Lion or Chris Degarmo from Queensryche. They both just left unannounced much the same way as Tina did. Some performers value their privacy more than their fans & that's OK. These musicians truthfully don't owe us anything just because we admire their talents. My last thought is that she to me may be one of, if not maybe may I dare say even the best guitarist in the world. She plays Yngwie, Steve Vai, Herman Li & Van Halen + a plethora of other guitar legends flawlessly. In addition to being able to perform the music of all of the classical composers! She does all of this with seemingly minimal effort. So I ask you if you were her, what more could you possibly hope to accomplish on guitar. I know that since Tina has left the scene that Guthrie Govan has risen to be the main guitarist's guitarist these days, but I am confident that Tina could easily rival & possible even conquer Guthrie as she has so many other guitar legends. She just took the bar as high as she could & moved on to something else in her life. We should just all appreciate the fact that she left us the legacy of her talent to enjoy.
Didn't read it all, sorry. But how much facial expression do you see in a classical music virtuoso? It's kinda regarded as inappropriate in that genre to let yourself go. I think she's more into that side of the game. Haven't seen anyone noticing, but in the Beethoven clip, she plays her guitar in the classical position. Yes, on her left leg. She hadn't done that since her classical guitar-clips.
It doesn't make any sense at all, everybody has a selfie video camera on them and she is famous and well loved, why no new videos of her just out and about by individuals who spot her? Something is real real fishy here.
Well she never said a word to anybody ever on the videos anyways why would she say she was quitting or leaving? That's an unreal expectation I have because she never talked ever on any video I saw and I saw about everyone she made so give it up. I could be off a little here since exact dates are hard to zero in on but the Nice France truck attack that killed 84 and injured a couple hundred happened in 2016 which would put that event around the time she stopped posting. She is not listed as being killed however could have been injured. If something like this happened to her she needs to understand that though it may be her talent that first attracted people to her it is her entire story, getting to know her that keeps people. Literally no one would leave if she lost her talent somehow.
Reminds me a lot of the Sixto Rodriquez story. People eventually found him but many years later. So many great years lost. Hope Tina S is well and appears again in the future.
Somebody said in reply of one of my coments that he knows for sure that she suffered a car accident in 2016 and couldn t play anymore ,that would be more likely to happen..... It's a rumor started by a french stalker who uses several youtube accounts, he had posted a video with pictures of tina's father, mentioning her address, her father's work address, etc, disturbing video from someone who seems to know her well

I know what happened to her, she has ran off with Ricardo Milos and they are living in seclusion. Both of them reached internet Fame and are now Legends and nobody has heard anything from them in years
I don't remember her interacting at all with the people on her channel. It does not not surprise me at all that she would do that ghost thing as she got older. I've never even heard her talk. A lot of popular teen girl musicians on RUclips seem to quit when they reach their late teens. Madi Lee was a popular teen singer on RUclips with 500K subscribers and she once sent me a personal message out of the blue 10 years ago. She has not made a music video in 4 years.
Yeah that's definitely a bummer. I've seen a few folks come and go throughout the years, including her. I don't think I've ever heard her speak either now that you mention it.
I think I know. And before I start, let me say that this is certainly not a criticism about you or anything you do....I don't know much about you because I don't know much about anyone online (more of that later), but I think you are an excellent guitarist. I am addressing young musicians here. Or even young people in general. In regard to Tina S: she's being smart, and despising the whole social media and youtube "Look at me, I am your new dancing monkey" mania. The fact is, this is the right thing to do, and the younger you are, the more you should despise the whole stupid thing, until you obliterated it to the deepest recesses of the Universe's s**thole. Let's face it, 98 per cent of the internet is made of rabble. Schopenhauer wrote that you'll find the worst of humankind the more you dwell in society. I add, the very worst is found on the internet. Tina S is being smart, and her example should be followed by all young people, and in fact older people too. I never gave a damn about being a star on youtube, or anywhere: I simply used youtube to keep track of my own work, as a free personal diary. I simply wanted to be a musician, and the best musician I can be. I don't give a rat's ass about what others think about my piece: if I recorded it, it means I think it is, at LEAST, good. I don't mind paying for stuff if it's worth it and saves my time, but youtube seemed pretty rock solid: it's free and as long as one doesn't break policies, he or she will have a personal internet thingy whatever it's called, to upload music files to, projects in the making, etc. Sort of MySpace 30 years ago or however long it has been. I would advise any young musicians to just keep the hell out of youtube and social media ENTIRELY, unless YT again is used as a "personal drawer", and provided that ALL comments are ignored and deleted, even the good ones. For if you want the good ones, you'll have to sift through the stupid junk, too. Better flushing it all down the toilet. (And this attitude has been promoted by all the best philosophers). I never read comments: I just nuke them all. And do not EVER ask questions such as "Hi all, what do you think about my song?". This is completely irrational: if I were a painter, I would not go on the streets or the local waterhole and ask strangers what they "think" about my painting. Because I know that to judge a painting objectively, I'd have to be a painter myself. Which I am not. And even then, the opinion is unnecessary: just liking or disliking something is rarely real knowledge. You don't need some opinions from random ignorant people. The reason is this: you don't need to write perfect music, you only need to write music that is good enough, and to play it well. All else are bonuses. You are the music expert, not random people on the internet. And since no one can ever write exactly the same song as someone else, because everyone is different, this uniqueness automatically grants you a place along with all other musicians. Billions of people learned the Western alphabet, but who wrote exactly the same letter? No one. There will never be another song exactly like yours, so if you can play well, you already have done something that will not be replicated. Throw all this other "who's best" junk out of the window: the best musicians have always been Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Gershwin, and other like them. They still are, so I don't care what about no name people with no videos of their playing, say about my song. If you have been paying your dues enough in the realm of music, feel completely entitled to not give a damn. Welcome to the club. But if you must ask others, because of your irrational insecurity as a musician, you should only ask knowledgeable people you can trust. IF you really need an opinion, which you'll almost never do. For there's no written exact standards in regard to writing songs. There's only how to learn music theory, harmony, etc. How not to be crap. But no one can write your song, except you, and we musicians are often our worst critics anyways, even before "music critics" started to appear, which was pretty stupid to start with (I have read hilarious stories about criticisms given to the likes of Beethoven. 150 years later, that piece that some idiots criticized, is still being performed all over the world, to standing ovations 😂 and rightly so). Remember: good musicians will NEVER diss your song: they have no reason to. At most, the song will not be what they PREFER. Music is like food, and good cooks will never say "this food should have never existed", for that would be stupid. And DEFINITELY do not accept bad or rude behaviour from ANYONE. The first thing a young musician should have is self respect, and this should be sacred. Don't let anyone steal this from you. If you are a good musician, you are lucky, you have a rich inner world, whereas others try to find outwardly what they lack inwardly. This is your sanctuary. The last thing you want is to have a purpose in life, or simply doing something that makes you feel happier or excited and looking forward to the next day, and have some envious, worthless fools put you down and destroy whatever happiness or self belief you have. A purpose in life can be very difficult to find, so don't take it for granted, and if you found it in music, consider yourself lucky. I know, it is an amazing dimension. It makes it makes you feel like nothing else. It makes your hands shake and your heart beat faster. But if you are older and you must do the dancing monkey thing on youtube and illude yourself that everyone is your warm friend, also remember: the "internet friends" you have today, can turn out to be your worst enemies tomorrow. I see foolish people trying to rationalize the abusive messages they get with "who cares!". The argument being, one should have a thick skin. Well, if they look forward to waking up in the morning and read through negative s**t by strangers with no name and no videos on their channels, and they are "old enough", fine, they can suit themselves. But at a young age this negativity can be devastating, and dangerous....when you are young, everything you see and hear is magnified. It was so for me too. It is a deception. When you are older, IF you learned anything, you will learn to see things more objectively. But the WORLD doesn't get better. For example, one of the deceptions is how the world should conform to your idealized version of it. As Epictetus wrote, only your thoughts and your actions are your concern. All else, you should be mostly indifferent to. As Marcus Aurelius wrote: " When you wake up in the morning, tell yourself, you'll find stupid people, mean people, liars, ungrateful people...Can the world exist without these people? No. Then do not expect it to be different.". In a word: the younger you are, the more you should avoid "social media" (preposterous term, I'd call it "digital shitter"), including youtube. Do not ever read any comments. Do not ever ask others what they think about whatever you do. As Socrates said: know thyself. That's your job, no one else's. Enjoy the journey, don't let the "digital shitter" ruin it.
PS. And another thing I believe: it is a mistake to be a good musician and to "feel at home with anybody". A good musician should not be part of his or her own crowd (or ANY crowd: as Seneca wrote, don't go where everyone is going, because most people are going the wrong ways) but something separate....all the best musicians in history were like that. Fact is, the musician is the music expert, the crowd is just a crowd. The schoolteacher doesn't play hide and seek with the children. I see musicians who come on YT, are treated like crap by the usual envious bunch with no videos of their playing because they are crap, and never bother again. I respect that. If you went somewhere and found stupid people, you wouldn't go back there. Is this what happened to Tina S, too? Because you can be pretty certain that if you have a million viewers, or even three hundred, there's going to be a LOT of them who will put you down not because their stupid and ignorant judgment has any merits (you can tell by the mindless crap they write, if they can even spell it correctly, that they are no intellectuals), but simply because they are envious: you are doing what you love. They aren't, and they can hide behind a fake name and an empty channel. When someone wants to speak to me about music, or anything, the first thing I do is checking their channel, if they have no videos of their playing, I forget about them: they are nothing to me. Yes: reading longer sentences is harder, therefore takes more brains and intellectual stamina. Moreover, what you wrote doesn't defeat my argument: something might not be succint, and yet still valid: brief doesn't mean necessarily better, and often it isn't. For starters the music industry isn't a nice place, they're a lot of unbelievable gifted musicians and singers that give up their lives and find even after decades they are still struggling or at the very least not that far up the ladder. So maybe that road just didn't appeal to her. Or maybe she felt that her own song writing skills were sufficient, she's certainly never let anyone hear one if she did, doing studio covers is one thing but playing with band and then night after night hitting the stage for year after year, is another. It's really strange. Because she just desapeared from internet, not just youtube. No one find even a photo of her. Even old people have social media. But she has none. The mistery about her is killing me. I was a big fan.
She’s obviously returned to her home planet. That would explain a number of things. I’m only half-joking.
From what I gathered she went to college and got a degree in law. Recently graduated. I'd say she was loving the music and enjoying herself and when time came for college she probably had lots going on mentally and physically. I don't know why she didn't say goodbye or post anything but she probably was 100 on her career. She has the tools to be one if not the greatest guitarists ever and also a degree that will make lots of money. If I had my guess she's like many who have several talents and she may love guitar but wanted to be a lawyer more or didn't want to burn out as guitarist and have nothing to fall back on. I just hope she knows she is one if not the best ever and we all love, miss and support her. I hope she gets settled in and we see a video pop up explaining some and see her post now and then. This social media can be tough people expect something different every day, week and along with school and or a job there isn't enough time do do everything and live somewhat of a personal life .

Well Lester, I've read a lot of comments on her uploads and one person said don't believe the bad rumors because they saw where she was setting up a studio on the outskirts of Paris.
Another commenter said she is now a grade school teacher.
Tina's guitar teacher and videographer "Renaud" said in comments that he hasn't had any contact with her since the last video and offered no further info.
The person who keeps repeating the bad rumors also keeps changing their account name from "RUclips Investigations" to "Investigations" then to
"Tino S" and perhaps others.

For the Dragonforce cover they used 2 takes ( they wanted a closeup of the headstock to show the logo since the guitar maker was sponsoring her and each of her Vigier guitars costs $4k minimum) and they had 1 camera only, and the haters went nuts because her hair moved between takes. This is a small summation of the vitriolic comments on her covers.

To get to be as good as she is takes 100% focus 100% of the time. This alone says that Tina, when she sets her mind to something, will focus purely on that and not allow any distractions. Good points you bring up. Let's not forget that for a child, becoming famous at a very young age can have a very dark side, especially in the music industry. And judging by the amount of disturbing and creepy comments by pervy men on her photos and videos, it seems this level of fame brought her a lot of unwanted attention. I just hope she was never taken advantage of or abused in any way.
I always watched her with a side eye, the way they were produced almost made it feel like she was chained in basement and forced to play 80s metal.

There is a new RUclips video of Tina S which is a collage of still photographs called "Tina S 2006-2016 her life" released about a week ago.
At about the 3 min mark, I translated the French text which says that Tina in 2018 is at the school where her father works and she will be a student there in 2020.
So this explains part of the mystery surrounding Tina S disappearing from RUclips

I think she said FUCK IT. Never saw any joy from her in her playing. It seemed to me that she was a possible meal ticket for her family. She went through the motions, complete prodigy, yet walked from pressure from her instructor as well as family. I would not blame her in any aspect to have just walked.

If you bothered to check any classically trained guitarist, you would see that very rarely they smile or do any other facial expression. Their art is in the music not if they can do silly grimaces. Please check guitarists like Ana Vidovic , John Williams or Andres Segovia. They are expressionless as if they are playing poker but their musicality is insane.

I think sometimes people prefer to embrace more of a "creative" or even controversial explanation to such mysteries, and often plainly refuse to give consideration to something obvious such as a person simply passing away. Remember that even Herman Li of Dragonforce was unable to contact her in an attempt to invite her to play live on stage with the band whilst on tour in France. Perhaps viewers should just accept the fact that people of all ages can and do die, and given her sudden and complete disappearance, death may indeed be a feasible explanation. I sincerely hope I'm wrong, but it is a genuine possibility

My explanation is that she is a very shy,introverted girl and just doesn't like too much attention, so she just quietly went away.
My hypothesis, based on her general demeanor she expresses in the videos... is that she's probably just a very private person.
In 2007, and for quite a while after, RUclips wasn't really a place you'd go to achieve fame, and certainly not stardom. That sort of thing came later.
Also, being 8, posting to RUclips herself was unlikely. Best guess, her Dad (and also guitar teacher) uploaded the videos.
So my guess... she just didn't care for the attention. Once she turned 16 (age of legal accountability in France), she decided not to have her work go public anymore.

Here is a wild, off-the-wall theory. She entered a convent. I say this as someone who promoted Tina & who she followed on social media, & who corresponded a little with her back when she was posting videos. A group of nuns from a French convent, obviously well-acquainted with Tina personally, used to like & discuss my Tina shares. I thought it was interesting & a bit strange at the time. I'm just putting this out here because I speculate about it to myself once in a while. Probably nothing to it.

Peoples looking at all kind of weird reason and not stating the obvious which is probably the reason why. She got scared of the crazy overnight popularity and all the bad things that comes with being famous (Like crazy fans).
I spoke with her teacher on Facebook. He’s actually pretty cool and answered my question pretty quickly. He was arranging a huge guitar orchestra and I asked why Tina wasn’t a part of it. He said he invited her, but she declined. Aside from that, he’s had no other contact with in over 5 years. I was encouraged to see recent activity on her Facebook and RUclips accounts. But that was just housekeeping. I’m sure she still earns a tidy sum as her account is still monetized and continues to grow. And please, anyone who claims they are a close personal friend, please disregard this info. There some pretty infamous Tina trolls who claim to have inside buddy-buddy info. Disregard these claims and be grateful for the legacy she left behind, all created before she turned 18. I know, it’s interesting to speculate what she could have become. Some questions are supposed to have an answer.

She honestly has always looked either very bored or very uncomfortable in her videos while playing. It almost seems that she either at best not having very much fun or at worst may be being forced to perform in some way. She always just looks really sad while playing. She to me is like a guitar playing machine devoid of any human affect in her facial expression.
My son was a gigging professional musician from age 15 to 18. He played in front of thousands of people for those 3 years. His passion for performing was unquenchable (or so we thought). I will tell you that the politics of music can crush a musician's spirit & passion to the point of ever wanting to do it again. When we moved to a new city my young son's aspiring musical career was sabotaged by much older veteran musicians that initially welcomed him & cemented him into their local scene. That all changed when youth prevailed & he started stealing their thunder & getting their fans from his endless energy & charisma. They then pulled the rug out from under him & he got blacklisted somehow from these same people. He is now 23 & works a regular 9-5 to support his family. He got so turned off by the whole scenario that he barely even plays as a hobby anymore. It's a fact that people leave the fickle world of performing music! Look at Vito Bratta from White Lion or Chris Degarmo from Queensryche. They both just left unannounced much the same way as Tina did. Some performers value their privacy more than their fans & that's OK. These musicians truthfully don't owe us anything just because we admire their talents. My last thought is that she to me may be one of, if not maybe may I dare say even the best guitarist in the world. She plays Yngwie, Steve Vai, Herman Li & Van Halen + a plethora of other guitar legends flawlessly. In addition to being able to perform the music of all of the classical composers! She does all of this with seemingly minimal effort. So I ask you if you were her, what more could you possibly hope to accomplish on guitar. I know that since Tina has left the scene that Guthrie Govan has risen to be the main guitarist's guitarist these days, but I am confident that Tina could easily rival & possible even conquer Guthrie as she has so many other guitar legends. She just took the bar as high as she could & moved on to something else in her life. We should just all appreciate the fact that she left us the legacy of her talent to enjoy.

I think she's more into that side of the game. Haven't seen anyone noticing, but in the Beethoven clip, she plays her guitar in the classical position. Yes, on her left leg. I could be off a little here since exact dates are hard to zero in on but the Nice France truck attack that killed 84 and injured a couple hundred happened in 2016 which would put that event around the time she stopped posting. She is not listed as being killed however could have been injured. If something like this happened to her she needs to understand that though it may be her talent that first attracted people to her it is her entire story, getting to know her that keeps people. Literally no one would leave if she lost her talent somehow.

I simply wanted to be a musician, and the best musician I can be. I don't give a rat's ass about what others think about my piece: if I recorded it, it means I think it is, at LEAST, good. I don't mind paying for stuff if it's worth it and saves my time, but youtube seemed pretty rock solid: it's free and as long as one doesn't break policies, he or she will have a personal internet thingy whatever it's called, to upload music files to, projects in the making, etc. Sort of MySpace 30 years ago or however long it has been. I would advise any young musicians to just keep the hell out of youtube and social media ENTIRELY, unless YT again is used as a "personal drawer", and provided that ALL comments are ignored and deleted, even the good ones. For if you want the good ones, you'll have to sift through the stupid junk, too. Better flushing it all down the toilet. (And this attitude has been promoted by all the best philosophers). I never read comments: I just nuke them all. And do not EVER ask questions such as "Hi all, what do you think about my song?". This is completely irrational: if I were a painter, I would not go on the streets or the local waterhole and ask strangers what they "think" about my painting. Because I know that to judge a painting objectively, I'd have to be a painter myself. Which I am not. And even then, the opinion is unnecessary: just liking or disliking something is rarely real knowledge. You don't need some opinions from random ignorant people. The reason is this: you don't need to write perfect music, you only need to write music that is good enough, and to play it well. All else are bonuses. You are the music expert, not random people on the internet. And since no one can ever write exactly the same song as someone else, because everyone is different, this uniqueness automatically grants you a place along with all other musicians. Billions of people learned the Western alphabet, but who wrote exactly the same letter? No one. There will never be another song exactly like yours, so if you can play well, you already have done something that will not be replicated. Throw all this other "who's best" junk out of the window: the best musicians have always been Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Gershwin, and other like them. They still are, so I don't care what about no name people with no videos of their playing, say about my song. If you have been paying your dues enough in the realm of music, feel completely entitled to not give a damn. Welcome to the club. But if you must ask others, because of your irrational insecurity as a musician, you should only ask knowledgeable people you can trust. IF you really need an opinion, which you'll almost never do. For there's no written exact standards in regard to writing songs. There's only how to learn music theory, harmony, etc. How not to be crap. But no one can write your song, except you, and we musicians are often our worst critics anyways, even before "music critics" started to appear, which was pretty stupid to start with (I have read hilarious stories about criticisms given to the likes of Beethoven. 150 years later, that piece that some idiots criticized, is still being performed all over the world, to standing ovations 😂 and rightly so). Remember: good musicians will NEVER diss your song: they have no reason to. At most, the song will not be what they PREFER. Music is like food, and good cooks will never say "this food should have never existed", for that would be stupid. And DEFINITELY do not accept bad or rude behaviour from ANYONE. The first thing a young musician should have is self respect, and this should be sacred. Don't let anyone steal this from you. If you are a good musician, you are lucky, you have a rich inner world, whereas others try to find outwardly what they lack inwardly. This is your sanctuary. The last thing you want is to have a purpose in life, or simply doing something that makes you feel happier or excited and looking forward to the next day, and have some envious, worthless fools put you down and destroy whatever happiness or self belief you have. A purpose in life can be very difficult to find, so don't take it for granted, and if you found it in music, consider yourself lucky. I know, it is an amazing dimension. It makes it makes you feel like nothing else. It makes your hands shake and your heart beat faster. But if you are older and you must do the dancing monkey thing on youtube and illude yourself that everyone is your warm friend, also remember: the "internet friends" you have today, can turn out to be your worst enemies tomorrow. I see foolish people trying to rationalize the abusive messages they get with "who cares!". The argument being, one should have a thick skin. Well, if they look forward to waking up in the morning and read through negative s**t by strangers with no name and no videos on their channels, and they are "old enough", fine, they can suit themselves. But at a young age this negativity can be devastating, and dangerous....when you are young, everything you see and hear is magnified. It was so for me too. It is a deception. When you are older, IF you learned anything, you will learn to see things more objectively. But the WORLD doesn't get better. For example, one of the deceptions is how the world should conform to your idealized version of it. As Epictetus wrote, only your thoughts and your actions are your concern. All else, you should be mostly indifferent to. As Marcus Aurelius wrote: " When you wake up in the morning, tell yourself, you'll find stupid people, mean people, liars, ungrateful people...Can the world exist without these people? No. Then do not expect it to be different.". In a word: the younger you are, the more you should avoid "social media" (preposterous term, I'd call it "digital shitter"), including youtube. Do not ever read any comments. Do not ever ask others what they think about whatever you do. As Socrates said: know thyself. That's your job, no one else's. Enjoy the journey, don't let the "digital shitter" ruin it.
PS. And another thing I believe: it is a mistake to be a good musician and to "feel at home with anybody". A good musician should not be part of his or her own crowd (or ANY crowd: as Seneca wrote, don't go where everyone is going, because most people are going the wrong ways) but something separate....all the best musicians in history were like that. Fact is, the musician is the music expert, the crowd is just a crowd. The schoolteacher doesn't play hide and seek with the children. I see musicians who come on YT, are treated like crap by the usual envious bunch with no videos of their playing because they are crap, and never bother again. I respect that. If you went somewhere and found stupid people, you wouldn't go back there. Is this what happened to Tina S, too? Because you can be pretty certain that if you have a million viewers, or even three hundred, there's going to be a LOT of them who will put you down not because their stupid and ignorant judgment has any merits (you can tell by the mindless crap they write, if they can even spell it correctly, that they are no intellectuals), but simply because they are envious: you are doing what you love. They aren't, and they can hide behind a fake name and an empty channel. When someone wants to speak to me about music, or anything, the first thing I do is checking their channel, if they have no videos of their playing, I forget about them: they are nothing to me. Yes: reading longer sentences is harder, therefore takes more brains and intellectual stamina. Moreover, what you wrote doesn't defeat my argument: something might not be succint, and yet still valid: brief doesn't mean necessarily better, and often it isn't. It would therefore seem that you hold the belief that being lazy and therefore incapable of robustly defeating an argument (and laziness comes at a cost) and having a fake name with no videos of your playing, and therefore being as common and mediocre as another 3 billion users on youtube, be something to be proud of. For starters the music industry isn't a nice place, they're a lot of unbelievable gifted musicians and singers that give up their lives and find even after decades they are still struggling or at the very least not that far up the ladder. So maybe that road just didn't appeal to her. Or maybe she felt that her own song writing skills were sufficient, she's certainly never let anyone hear one if she did, doing studio covers is one thing but playing with band and then night after night hitting the stage for year after year, is another. Yeah I can see why she might just think thanks but no thanks.
