The doodling is what makes these so unique and adorable. These would be adorable strung on strings into a doorway or window curtain with some of your paper beads in the mix! Great video. Great energy too!
THANK YOU for a tutorial on making flowers without all the expensive dies and cutting machines. This is REAL crafting. I can't wait to start making this. They look wonderful!!!
BEAUTIFUL.................. Your so creative.... :)I'm an older woman who is 'tired' lol of crocheting, embroidery, etc...and NOW....I know what to do with all my .... magazines.... :) ...THANKS SO MUCH !!!!
I have watched this video 3 times.... every couple of years , more or less................. always an inspiration. Nice ideas and great recycling project.
These may be the most creative paper flowers I've ever seen - terrific! Also, there are many possibilities for variations and additions. I already have some ideas.
Hi.... watched this all the way in sunny Sri Lanka! My friend Sue who is from the UK and myself work with a group of women in a project, making hand made cards, bags, quilts, etc. This is something brilliant to teach them! Thanks heaps
I am new to art journaling, got started in February. I just made some flowers after watching your video. They came out gorgeous! . I love your tutorials. Thanks Jenni for the inspiration!
Thank you Jenniebellie so much for sharing your wonderful techniques. I do not have such creative original ideas - I need help from people like you. So thanks very much for giving me a nudge to get my own ideas from yours. You are so sweet!!
Jenniebell, you are amazing and sooo talented. I adore all that you make and embellish and love how you are so neat & organised in storing all your materials .As well, you have a real jolly personality and lovely clear tone to your voice.
I'm in love with this video. This video will stand the test of time. I have made some beautiful flowers, without all those tools that most videos require. Thank you so much for sharing this video six years ago. I'm a fan! (6/12/2018)
I have to say, I am enjoying your tutorials, they are so much fun to watch and learn all your techniques. I'm just learning this fun world of journaling and I must say I am loving it, wanting to try everything. Thanks for the flower video, its the best!!
Looks like a creative and fun project - helps to clear out the junk mail and re-purpose them for something beautiful. I've always wondered what to do with my button collections and collage papers (commercial and hand-made). Now I know. Thank you.
i always love doing creative things from waste paper, pieces of cloth etc etc but never thought of something like this, you have really inspired me...i loved it so much...thanks for the video...keep it up
Way fun! I'm so with you on being excited about this design!! What a great way to use scrap bits and pieces.... LOVE IT!!! I can't wait to see how you do the stems and leaves!!
Your creation is amazingly unique, interesting and never boring. I love it, you are a true artist. I also love your accent. Thank you very much for sharing.
thanks for another super video, Jennibellie. Love these tutorials where you use recyclable and ordinary things at home to create. Fun, arty and thrifty!
Totally brilliant, Jenni!! I just luuurve your enthusiasm... "Recycled buuutons, recycled buutons, uh uh uh uuuuh uh" lol!! Beautiful, unique, zany flowers! Gotta try this. They leave my "freeform" flowers in the cold!! I definitely need to be going through my boxes of scrap card and paper. You are an inspiration! Thanks for brightening my day!!!
Thanks Sarah =) I do use simple flower making techniques so I guess nothing's new under the sun hey, it just is what you make it =) glad you enjoyed xxx
It looks so easy and using scraps means can make the flowers to match my project, but also it means I get to use some of those hundreds of scraps you have stored. Thanks.
THESE ARE AWESOME !!!!! Can hardly wait to make these myself. Jenni, you are soooooo talented. I look forward to watching each and every you tube video that you share with us. THANK YOU so much!!!
WOWOWOW so glad I found your channel! I've been making recycled art for a long time, since I was a kid. We didn't have much so being creative was a necessity. My grandpa made my first bike from all recycled pieces...best bike ever!! I love your ideas, Thanks for letting us in on them. I think that you might be my sister from another mother!:) Necessity is the mother of invention, my favorite saying:) you are talent+a billion trillion!
Thank you so much for sharing this awesome idea! I have added a little twist of my own and when I get some great pics or a vid...I have never done one....lol.....but here is the twist.... I make them small enough to be used for earrings...brooch or pendant. I use "Minwax" polycrylic to seal and harden it. Also it protects them from moisture...ie: sweat light rain....They are not waterproof but will stand up to normal wear with a little caution being paper jewelry! Again...I really appreciate you
I knew it! I just knew I could make something with candy wrappers! wow jenniebellie, when you brought out all YOUR ephemera & beads & jewels & findings, I felt like I was looking at all mine, only organized! NOW I know how to deal with it all. thank you so very much!!!!!
I Love you video because you did not need anything fancy to make them its so simple. Very great tutorial. Love how you are so bubble and excited as well. I subscribe.
Miss P This is my first time a have watched ur tutorial, I am very impressed, u make it look so very interesting. love your flowers! I started making these out of the blue this time last year. I used scrapbook paper and some of my rejected photograph cards printed out on card stock. stuff just is out there in the ethers....people picking up on it...so much creativity going on. I do two sided petal layers put together with wood glue, they keep their shape and are very strong.
