Whether as David Jo or Buster Poindexter, always entertaining. Was lucky enough to see the rise of Buster at the old Tramp's in NYC. From playing to half empty bar to 3 packed shows a night with the line around the corner. Great with a 4 piece or big band.
Went to see Buster at Tramps back in the day... we were almost groupies!!! Lol! Great great great great shows! The stars do not align often the way they did around David at Tramps!!!!
Me, too. It was great to see that whole thing grow the way it did - the chemistry between the original players and David was just incredible and energetic.
Saw Buster do this on Johnny Carson show - he KILLED it! First time I ever saw him...never forget him after that show...good singer, great showman.
