The “Great Conjunction” of Jupiter and Saturn will occur on December 21, 2020 - the northern hemisphere’s winter solstice. At that time, the two planets will be in the constellation Capricornus, low toward the southwest horizon, and separated by a mere 0.1°. This will be the closest Jupiter/Saturn conjunction since the year 1623 CE! Some astrologers are calling it one of the biggest astrological events of our lifetime!

Mike from Ratatat met up with a different artist named Augustin White while Ratatat was on tour at Coachella. They were already friends in the past and had toured together. Augustin said that they just had a great time at Coachella and the spoke to each other about new music they were working on.
After Coachella, Augustin and Mike began to email each other new songs they were working on and they decided to combine their efforts and create a new project called “Kunzite”. They wanted this music to be more upbeat and fun compared to past projects they worked on.
