Holy Reaper here - This was a GREAT game. Back in the early seasons of For Honor, Warden Vs. Lawbro was good times lol Only recently have I started playing Lawbringer, and I’m loving the character! Played him soon after this game with Lykos 🤘 What was tough really tough about this match, was the really good reads, and the high damage output from lawbringer here. There were 2 or 3 rounds, when the damage stacked, and I was like - “Oh shit 👀” lmaooo I agree that Lawbringer needs some modern day working, to catch up with all the modern changes. But Lawbringer can still be played really well still, as obviously displayed here. I took notes for my Lawbringer play, and I honestly (no lie it’s on my stream recording), went 9-1, on my first game. Continued punishing as well. Lykos played really well here, and I gave it my all🤘 Great game Lykos, thanks for inspiring me to play lawbro ! Gg man 🤜🤛 (I also have never seen GB into Longarm before 🤣 So I didn’t know I could counter that 🤣🤣)
Yes I agree, LB has one of, if not the best chain offenses in the game; given that it all lands. However his shortcomings are his long bash time, no good light chains for openers, and weak damage for a parry based char. Give us 35 on a light parry and just hyper armor on chained heavies.
Personally as Lb main i struggle against Shaman's and somewhat aramudha due to their heavy feint into a light. Conq also a tough match. Honestly all ik is players who know how to fight lb will give u a hard time
I enjoyed this fight with Reaper. Few people may think I was toxic in here and I was only like that to Angelus because off line he says some crazy stuff. Second I was doing my best to react and make the right reads. I know Reaper isn't a slouch. He does play different from other people and that's what makes him stand apart as a Number 1.

It was a holiday execution where you grab a bottle of alcohol chug it, break it over their head and repeatedly stab your enemy in the neck and afterwards blood just kinda pours out of it
I get going for different side lights on warden for a bit more damage, but always doing a top light for the second one was so dangerous. So many light parry opportunities
Bruh what. Going left to right side lights or vice versa is probably the second worst thing you can do behind missing the first side light and doing the second one on the same side. They're both so slow and reactable. You're giving the opponent a light parry. Going from a side light to a top light is actually somewhat viable and faster then left to right or right to left side lights. They're about the same speed as a heavy and not feintable.

GGs to both players. First off it's nice to see Lykos ACTUALLY having fun with LB and being aggressive instead of complaining about what he can't do. Been waiting on gameplay like this for a while. I do wanna say the MAIN reason Reaper lost was due to failure of parrying LB side light atks. Lykos was just having a field day of throwing those and not getting countered. I love ya Reaper, I too am a warden main myself, but dam you suk at reading LB. There were dozens of callouts i made to myself that i was hoping you would catch, but it never happened. Most unfortunate gaming, however ggs overall, things like this can happen sometimes.
Its 30 frames man. Timing doesnt line up with the animation hardly at all. If youre expecting me to light parry consistently on 30 frames, that aint gonna happen
I think Lawbringer’s bash should be chargeable and feintable like Shaolin’s sweep. That would make it more flexible, rather than just throwing the same bash that gets dodged 24/7/365.
I don't sling my name around like that nor try to get friends through it. It's already on RUclips and the FH community is small compared to other games. So those who play and follow top players and channels tend to know and spot them pretty easily.
For some reason, I find Law Bro's side chain lights so easy to parry (even through the stun off the top heavy - it's literally a 50/50 chance to parry), as most LB's throw to the side and rarely go up top due to the dmg difference.
Not to spill secrets. But you gotta think outside the box. Be willing to try and do what others think is safe. If you stay with what's safe, you won't win against others. I've tried.
After shoulder bash why don't go double side lights? I knew that raw double side lights are risky but... you should always trust shoulders... Edit: row to raw
Because it's another level of a mix-up. Using different side lights it's more damage and if you condition your opponent with a top light after side light you can then start throwing heavies after the first light and they'll bite on what they think is a light but the heavy lands
I had to see the number 1 Warden in action I needed some inspiration because I personally still love Warden he’s one of those heroes that still feel old school to me and that’s what I love about him hopefully I get as good as good as holy reaper with Warden I learned a lot from watching this fight. Looking through these comments seeing all of these cocky players thinking either of these guys are bad is laughable they’re number 1 for a reason but I guess arrogance always outweighs incompetence this Warden and Lawbringer deserves the credit where it’s due this was an amazing fight.

FH is definitely one of those games that is based on the individual, on massive levels. The lawbringer here made some great reads and moves. There are definitely people out there that are better than me, but I still do my best to give a good fight. Warden is a great character, my favorite obviously lol Keep practicing, and you can definitely master one of the most versatile characters in the game. Warden can adapt and change constantly, make that bland moveset feel overwhelming 🤘 If you read your opponent well enough, you will definitely dominate. I’ve been playing Warden and Lawbringer ever since I saw you guys fight I just posted some duels on my own on my channel if you could give me some tips on how I can improve that would be great! Hope phase 2 comes around soon, I have a lot of friends across platforms we’ve been waiting patiently, I see what you guys go through now that I’ve played Warden and Lawbringer consistently and I can’t say it’s very fun not having that kind of power other heroes do in their kits but I love the challenge.
@@NorthFrostBear going through what we have too is a step in understanding what it takes to make the reads and plays know the amount of pressure we take on. However it should be noted that Reaper along with myself have over come a lot to get where we are. Just look at some of the examples. I fought Jon and he has mad reactions to light parries. He fought Havok who is also crazy good. There are always better people out there. My advice on LB is work on maximizing your parry punishes. Light parries can give you a repose, free unlockable heavy and a free long arm (not recommended). Also LB can be used against Kyoshin and Conq very well. But the opening is very small.

Just a fun character to play, and some players enjoy playing the less played non meta heroes, it also feels so much better when you win with a weak hero
Lawbringer is very good in breach, i find i have a very easy time of defending or taking points, as well as defending myself when stray heroes attack me on the ballista
