Fun video, I jusst hope no IRS employees were paying attention when you mentioned how it came to be that you had the opportunity to play with this great toy.
WHAT?? I can't do a favor without paying taxes on it? Using money that's already been taxed, on a item that was purchased with another tax, after paying taxes on the fuel to use it, on the land that I paid taxes on with more money that was already taxed? You mean I can't bring it to my shop, that pays taxes, to install parts that we paid taxes on, by employees that we pay taxes for, who get paid with already taxed money, and then they have to pay taxes on that money that they made? That's worse then paying sales tax at a garage sale. The IRS isn't that bad are they?
@@RainmanRaysRepairs My parents had to pay taxes on 1.4 million dollars that their client never paid simply because it had been billed. Their client filed bankruptcy and never paid, but the IRS still said because they sent a bill my parents had to pay the taxes on it. They should have been able to claim it as a loss, but nope, they were required to claim it as income. It put them out of business and the IRS audited them for the next 7 years. They stopped paying taxes due to the business being closed but the IRS wanted to know why they didn't have any taxable income. The auditor just couldn't/wouldn't understand why a closed business didn't have any income after it was shut down. The IRS operates in its own world where logic has no meaning.
This is just a "test drive" to check for other diagnoses. As for the tire swap, I might have gone ahead and but the trailer's spare on and saved one round trip for one wheel.
Well hello fellow 69 er. Were you 23 just yesterday. I'm sure I was. lol. I think at this point my zero turn mower is as close as I'm going to get to driving a shid steerer.

My wife one time told me that I was basically a 12-year old and I can see that it's probably common with many grown men. Ray, you are still a child at heart. Love watching you "play" with your skid steer. Amazing what is entertaining. Thanks for taking us along.
Ten years ago I designed a 3500 sf concrete patio and walkway. We xeriscaped the rest of the area around it. About a quarter acre. We used a small cat front end loader, much like the one you’re operating. It’s amazing how intuitive these machines are. I jumped in, learned the controls in a few minutes and spent several days moving tons of dirt, big rocks and mature plants; forming a beautiful landscape. Watching you triggered these memories. Good times! 👍🏼🇺🇸
Me landscaping: mower, weed eater. Ray landscaping: skid steer. Me changing a tire: lug wrench, jack, jack stand. Ray: skid steer, electric impact. Me cleaning the house: vacuum cleaner. Ray: gas powered leaf blower.

Hi Ray from England myself and all of my family and friends, we watch your videos every day, and also thank you so much for showing us the proper way of doing things. On cars Thank you so much to you and your wife or entertaining us. So from us to you, thank you, we are great fans of the show with respect Tony Maria and Francesco from England 🇬🇧 🇬🇧.
Don't have a skid-steer but do have a small tractor with a front loader and backhoe and that little jewel has more than paid for itself several times over.
The most common reason for truck tire blowouts are under inflation. They might be sixteen ply but that's mostly on the tread portion. The sidewalls don't have much. Those axles need upgraded. I popped a tandem tire on my concrete truck on a job site just by going too fast and flipped a big blue shale rock up to where it punctured it. They were using big rock for that site. On concrete delivery jobs the finishers will oftentimes place plywood sheets for the skid steer or concrete power buggy to drive on as to not tear up their customer's yard.
17:00 If you thought this was destroying the lawn, you should try driving this mini loader in the old version, which had an iron track, the damage is much greater Ray 😬.
My cousin has one with the bush blade attachment. He went thru our yard cutting down trees as big around as a 20oz coke bottle. It was awesome. That's probably an attachment you need to help chop up the undergrowth stuff, too, maybe not the trees. Anyway, MORE POWER (my name is Tim, after all...lol) Cheers.
Good call on the trailer tire swap. I have a 14,000 lbs Gooseneck that I carry a Kubota skid steer. I had 10 ply tires on it and kept blowing them until I swapped to 16 ply tires. No problems now.
I have always wanted to operate a skidstear. They are a very versatile machine. Great video never boring to see what you are going to put on your channel next.😊
We have a Cat skid steer. If you try to start it without the armrests down, you gotta wait about 5-10 seconds after the key is off to crank it again. It's very annoying on ours because it has the passcode. So you have to reinput your passcode over again
You explained the one thing my dad hates about Skid steer loaders. It's difficult to get in and out if the boom isn't above the cab or all the way down. You pretty much just need a helper on foot all day long. Compact wheel loaders are the new hotness.
I own a cat 239 trac loader.I use it to load stuff in my trucks with it all the time. They are very agile just be very slow and precise with the joy sticks and you can put wheels on tractors easily
I’ve seen people put blocks under the back of the trailer to keep the trailer front from flipping up and keep heavy loads off the rear axle while loading it.
If you want to remove rear wheel/tire. Place two or three 2x8/10/12's in a flat stack so tire can climb stack. Pull trailer forward and rear axle will lift off ground. To remove front tire, reverse stack location and back trailer so front tire will come up off ground. (Old farmer solution)
Years ago I told my wife I had to go grease a Bobcat. Still a joke like around here. So now I have to go and Grep my Cat. Hello, Unix lovers, wherever you aer!
Gotta add some Bulldog sidewinder teailer jacks on the back end of the trailer! I did mine ten or so years ago,so it wouldnt lift the truck when loading equipment.
I spent many hours in different skid steers, landscaping and farm work. I prefer zero turns, but theyre ann handy, and dangerous. As far as changing tires with it, well thats not unheard of when dealing in construction or agriculture fields. The first lesson i was given at 14 was that all of the equipment has one thing in common, no matter how powerful it is, it doesn't care if its helping you or tearing you apart.
Knew a guy who had a slightly bigger skid steer machine. He had a slasher attachment made for it so he could cut the long grass on his property. He had some cool toys. Also had an LS swapped FC RX7 too.
The trailer capacity is listed on the tag attached to the frame. I have 2469 pound max tires on my '07 1/2 ton Silverado Classic. The sticker on my door jam says 6400 pounds max.
I didn't realize I was watching Scott's 'I don't need no jack stands' channel. Note, my wife calls this jack stands scottie stands now. Also, this was sketchy af. ❤
i did tires for 11 years , white wheels are rated for 65 psi , silver wheels are rated for 95 psi so if you put heavier than 10 ply tire you are still limited by the wheels for pressure
Ray so glad when you said you was upgrading to load range G tires. After years of towing RV and utility type trailers you will thank yourself by upgrading tires. I recommend to people all the time with RVs to make that the first upgrade
Ray, just a word of advice on those heavyweight trailer tires. Well actually trailers tires in general! The load rated trailer tires have a speed rating of about 60 to 65 MPH on the speed rating !!!!!!!! Speed limits on trailer tires are normally more of an issue than the weight rating! The higher load tires are generally rated for slower speeds! There's also a price difference for a higher rated speed on the tire. The tires the I run on my horse trailer with living quarters are 12 ply rated for 110 pounds of pressure that being said you also need to make sure your rims are rated for the higher air pressure!! The rim should be stamped with it's pressure rating.

You could add some retractable legs to either side of the back end just for loading and unloading.
That's how the big boys do it. You have hydraulics on that trailer so a couple of rams and some plumbing will fix up the overloading on the rear axle.
