Think I had a few agate gasms watching this video. #5 was my favourite. You are so right, these are gorgeous. Once again The Master, The Lord of Lapidary shows his skills. Thanks for sharing this video with us Kyle.
Dawwww shucks :) And you're welcome. Thank you for your continued support and watching my content! I was asked to polish some new different pieces so I MIGHT make another video. :)
#2 & #5 were my favorites too. 2 had the most character and prettiest color. 5 was a very cool shape and nice banding too. Absolutely gorgeous material to work there, WOW! Superb job on the polishing.
This stuff is SO beautiful!! My little piece of tumble "disappeared" a long time ago. I do still have the teeny pendant my daddy made for me when I was 6.
Absolutely gorgeous and you put an incredible shine on them! I did guess the right couple that are your favorites, because they were my 2 favs also. They all turned out wonderfully Kyle, thanks for sharing!✌️🤠🤟
Wow, some seriously special stuff here, love that color and lace banding, incredible, wow, and what a shine Kyle, great job, seriously. That's crazy about the sun/UV light fading the color! Thanks for sharing Kyle!
That is some awesome agates! I love the purple and white contrast and the crazy patterns in the stones my favorite is number 2 with 5 and 4 very close behind. I knew that number 2 was one of yours and I would have said number 4 as the other until you showed number 5 and then I knew that was other one. Great job of polishing them and I can see several beautiful pendants in that one rock and some beautiful cabs in another one. Keep up the great videos and God bless you and your family.
I think the giveaway was I spent more time and put more energy into showing it off. I didn't realize it until I was editing the video and I was like "yup...you can tell" haha Thank you for the compliment and for watching my videos! :)
Wow those are spectacular. I can see why you would want to have more in your collection. I too choose the same as you for my favorites. That big one has so much going on with it. I could look at that one all day. So beautiful
Great job on the polishing. I recently made a pair of Royal Aztec Lace earrings set in gold for my daughter. Yes, it is fairly rare material. I think more rare the Holley Blue and Ellensburg Blue. I managed to find mine at an estate sale. Thanks again.
Thank you! And feel the same way because there is a lot of Holley/Ellensburg floating around and people can still find it. (kind of) But this stuff...finding much of any information wasn't easy! What a lovely gift though!!!
Yay! I had both of your favorites! They were my favorites too. They all were gorgeous stones but number two was outstanding! And #5 was just a perfect little cutie. Lol! The material is phenomenal! Absolutely gorgeous! Purple is me favorite color and these stones are exceptionally gorgeous! No wonder they are royal aztec! Happy Thanksgiving Kyle to you and yours! And thank you for showing this phenomenal material!
Geeez how do you choose??? If I HAD TO CHOOSE I would pick number 5! Perfect for your pocket and it’s just perfect! And has the crystals on top to! Beautiful pieces!!!
A tough decision but I think I like #4 the best because you can see the rough, green colored exterior right next to the beuitifully polished purple and white banding all from the same point of view.
I think they even planned on tumbling the ones I polished but I'm not 100%. No matter what, it was still fun to polish them! (I was gifted one of the pieces)
Beautiful! I never knew that some colored agates are sensitive to UV light. If that’s the case, then how can you explain how someone could make it into jewelry? Is there a way to make the color stable in that situation?
Well you know number 3 is my favorite for obvious reasons. I might have to send you a package of some things I tried tumbling but ehhh they could have turned out better. It’s not purple but it’s some AMAZING red. I think they could be really really beautiful face polished. You can keep most of it I’d just want a piece or two back if you can polish some. I bet you can do way better than me. It’s beautiful material! Anyway I know you’re busy but it’d just be a small flat rate box so no obligation other than I’d like a piece or two back and if it takes you 3 to 6 months to get to I get it that’s fine. Anyway I’ve had some unexpected financial drains all right in a row so looks like I’m not going to get any lapidary equipment until at least spring or summer at the earliest. I’d love to see it polished most of it I found like 2 years ago and… it’s starting to bug me 😆 the tumbler was just like a teaser.
@@WorldofRockhounds I threw a red tumbled piece in one of the boxes. Maybe you can make it pretty 🤷🏻♂️ it’s not my favorite one or anything but curious to see if you can do more with it. It has major potential I think but it just didn’t tumble well
Try 320 sintered instead of 140 nova, then 260 nova... Setup for life for under 70$. How's that cabbing machine comparing to others? Material looks like holley... nice color, that will give some very nice cabs! And brush, soap and ultrasonic cleaner is the only way to get rid of that nasty cerium.🤣
I'll have to look into that! The blue cabbing machine - It's okay. Just some small issues but I work around them. I still prefer the Genie but each machine has it's purpose in the shop. The color is similar but the banding and rind I believe what sets it apart. I have some holley stashed somewhere but I like the Royal Aztec a little more :) I've been meaning to get a ultra sonic cleaner but I do have a low PSI pressure washer as well as a steam cleaner that works GREAT but it does require keeping the stone wet until it can be cleaned so the Cerium doesn't dry out.
@@WorldofRockhounds yea, ultrasonic works good, but I need that steam cleaner too... Looks like you have a lot of water wasting...I use gravity feed, that helps a lot and keeps the water warm, plus my valves are "closer" to the wheels because I used a piece of rubber hose under them. These flaps above the wheels...I have them mounted in kind of C shape the way they can press against the wheels which helps spread the water and clean them(you mount them with 2 screws just under the light, half way to the cover edge, facing backwards and the wheels will push them down). Last thing to make it super quiet is padding between "all" the parts... but that's not that necessary... and I have extra protection for bearings, so they don't get wet. I can't compare, It's bulky, but parts are available in 5 min and fixable in few hours, so I like that... other than that 4th year of going every day. Enjoy and good luck

When agates are polished, they display all their beauty. Each very special piece. Thanks for sharing.
They really do! Thank you for watching!

I had #5 as your favorite. I like #3. Great looking material. Thanks for sharing.
Nice! and it's really hard to pick favorites. There were others that I would have liked to work too. Thank you for watching!

Right? It's very cool stuff.
And thank you!
Unfortunately it's that way for a lot of certain stones. :(
2,5, mine is 2. Beautiful stones and beautiful polish really shows the color.
Nice picks and guess! :D
All are beautiful! But the BLUE BERRY YOGURT #2 is my favorite. 😊
:) I'm not good at naming colors haha but nice pick!
Beautiful stones what a treat it must have been to get to play with them.
Oh it was a super treat. I was asked to polish a few more as well. I may do another video on it. Still deciding :)

I have a special problem. When something is hard to get...then I want more of it. But my wallet says no haha
Nice picks! :)
Ya my wallet says I can't buy more rocks for a while too. So I will just work the ones I have for now.
They were all beautiful, but i liked #4 the best. Happy thanksgiving. Gobble 'till you wobble.
They really were all beautiful!
Happy Belated Thanksgiving!
I most certainly wobbled due to over eating hahaha
Beautiful stones , I have 2 and 3 with 5 a close third, #3 is my favourite. Definitely sent to the right person to work them.👍

Nice! and they really are :)
Cannot pick a favorite because they are all too gorgeous ❤
Beautiful stuff!
It really is!
guessed 2 & 5. my fav was 3. this is some beautiful material!
Nice guesses! I need to make things a bit more challenging haha I saw a lot on sale and almost bought some but I held off for too long. :(
very cool, 2 and 3 for me were my favorites

I love it

Beautiful material! 👌 If I ever get some in my collection, I think I would throw one in the tumbler too ...
I would say #2.....

Not to my knowledge there isn't. Might be one of those things where it might be evening jewelry or something like that.

Nice!
9:20 gets my vote
Good choice!

The big one also looks like it has a face with one eye closed and a huge grin
