What a really beautiful Travel Cabin this is, everything about it is simply gorgeous! I particularly liked the solid door to the driving compartment, it's important for the living space of the Travel Cabin to feel like home, and the door helps it to do that really well, whilst still giving immediate access. The uncluttered, airy feel is lovely and this is truly a beautiful space to be in, be it for short breaks or long term. How wonderful to have fitted out the van with her father, what a super project for them to do together, a real labour of love! This really is a gem of a van and it's owner.

With more solar, she could even have a tv in there,but you can also watch TV on your phone or lap top. I love how she can stand up in the van too!

We loved to camp and daddy would have loved van life, as would I if you have the means to build out a van like this do it. Even if you just want to go camping in in part time. I would love to go out in a built out van for a month or two at a time. I'm disabled, so I couldn't build it out by myself, but I also know that nothing has to be perfect. Leave it to a boat builder to make such a well-crafted installation. Love the blue accent and slide-out table. The door to the cab is amazing. Very impressed she biked all the way from Canada to LA and through Joshua Tree. I know she got it inspected, but I still think that’s not a very safe place for a propane tank.

In european markets, eggs are often left out, stacked in those square recycled cardboard mats. You just pick out the ones you want. But raising chickens is different there too -- they are not allowed to wash the eggs before selling, which would remove a protective barrier.
They can just don’t put them in the refrigerator and back out again... if we get them from friends fresh n never been refrigerated then you can leave them out in a cool place

Being a fellow Canadian, I think the lack of fear, is a gene most of us seem to have 'missed'. I guess we weren't in that line when those were being handed out. We were probably too busy socializing and meeting our new friends!

Nice build!! Wonder what she does for work in Canada? I see multiple Canadian rv’rs that work part of the year and travel the other part. Seems like Canadian businesses are more flexible with alternative work schedules than companies in the US.
Absolutely great van. The only question I have is the mounting to the propane tank. It looks like it's about 6 inches lower than the undercarriage of the van and susceptible to damage. But I guess if you know it's there you can make allowances for it. Keep the good stuff coming Bob.
Absolutely one of the finest van builds I've seen. I'd change the decor/aesthetic but the layout is fantastic and extremely well thought out - lots of attention to detail.
That is so precious, that is a beautiful van and I love your colors!!! I want to go to BC so so bad but I have a few things I have to take care of which seems like it always happens.
Where do you keep ur potty....your shoes and if I were you I'd get a small frog to go in the console of the vans front....keep cool drinks and etc. Really neat thing for getting out back in case of a 🔥 fire....really neat aqua blue color for trim work....great job !!!!!

I've noticed a number of VanLifer/Nomad-types are from Vancouver BC. Have heard real estate is crazy high, so understand those putting there housing money into an RV of some sort to reduce their living costs. Seems like a very sensible idea to me. "Americans are super friendly." I think it's more about congestion that creates tension among people and with wider open spaces people are naturally friendlier towards one another.
I like it. No clutter , no full packed closets, very minimal , neat. Way to go!
That's exactly how I'm planning my van. No hoarding of "stuff". Some people have too many possessions. Hers is about perfect.
"... just being fancy having cold drinks." Ok if you're actually thinking of moving into a van THIS is the attitude you need.
