SP Fairbanks Morse Train Masters

Fairbanks Morse Train Masters were the backbone of SP's Peninsula Commute service for almost two decades. These scenes are from 8mm film shot in 1972, when SDP45's were just beginning to get bumped from their long distance runs after Amtrak. Most of the soundtrack was derived from original contemporary recordings from Arkay records, blended with sounds from my library for variety. The intro music is entitled "Racing to Extinction" from the Gears of War 2 soundtrack.
