Great way to compile works on paper into a book. Thank you. I really liked several of these paintings - hope you use them as inspiration going forward.
Funny how that is Loulou--the one color you never think to use is the one that you end up liking the best. I should definitely try to use pink more often--especially in a muted color.
I agree Maria--so much of making art or being creative is experimenting. And hopefully, have fun at the same time--which I think is easier if you enjoy the process rather than focus on the end result.
Really great!!! So many creative ideas. I love visiting you 😃 Do you make your own books or do you buy them? I mean the journals you paint in. Greetings from Switzerland
Thanks Dagamar! I use a combination of store-bought art journals and ones that I make. The art journal in this flip-through video is one that I made and you can see the process here: ruclips.net/video/xSRb6BRUPaI/видео.html I have also made art journals out of vintage books and children's board books and have made videos detailing that process. I have never done bookbinding with stitching so my art journals are fairly simple to make.
