A married woman has asked whether it was inappropriate for her to go to a candlelit ‘fancy’ dinner with a recently single male friend - especially since her husband was opposed to the idea. There's a definite split of opinion online with some not seeing a problem, and others saying it’s wrong on so many levels - but which way does our panel sway? Denise says that overall she isn’t bothered about who Lincoln goes to dinner with, but that each case is different. Denise was spot on! Coleen’s comment about hoping her partner choked if he went for dinner with a female friend was a) not funny and b) not appropriate. If she was not ok with it just say that rather than making an inappropriate comment.
Imagine a man with a visible platform had said that, Loose Women would be reacting to it talking about toxic masculinity.
