This is one of the BEST Gaia reviews without a sound demo you are SPOT ON in your assessment on them, but especially your "Price to Performance ratio" analysis that`s the key right there. Personally I don`t believe they are "over priced" one single bit and I`m a "serial tweaker" & upgrader - THESE ARE THE BEST TWEAK/UPGRADE I have ever made to our system in over 25yrs and I`ve had quite a few:linear psu`s,oak cone feet, silicone isolation, tonearm upgrades/tweaks,isolation platforms, speaker cables, power amps, pre amps,turntables,interconnects,etc.etc.etc.
Thanks for checking in as always Gilbert, let me know if you get a chance to try them. The tough part is positioning your speakers once they are on though.
I was apprehensive about purchasing these as i am fearful of 🐍 oil in this hobby. I was able to get a used set of Gaia ii’s on eBay along with the matching carpet spike discs which are sold separately. I agree with this review there is a definite change in sound to the speakers. There is a cleaner sound, more pronounced and dare I say it’s clearer. Agree with the highs comment certainly better detail. For the amount of money these are (still pricey) it’s a hell of a lot less than replacing a component or a speaker
In my opinion isolation is not snake oil, whether you are using it for your speakers or your systems there is definitely a different. Just by adding a rubber feet underneath your CD player you wil hear a change. I tried many different speaker feet from cheapo ones to isoacustic class the performance jump. I did not go for ultra crazy price feet as i dont have expensive speakers yet . But i do acknowledge IsoAcoustic Gaia give me amazing result like what you have describe. Good channel looking forward to seeing more good intro from your channel.
@@BelieveHiFi Searching online I found that the SVS SoundPath Subwoofer Isolation System (6 x U$70) can work with large speakers, I can get 12 and use 8 for my speakers (2x4) and 4 for my Sub for U$140 looks like better that $400 for 8 of the Isoacoustic, hopefully can give me almost the same results.
On the track Light years away I meant to say the right speaker not the left!!

hey man, nice one,
I have them too but it made speaker placement so hard and I couldnt get them perfectly placed
Yep.. This is an issue BUT! Just put a towel or something underneath and it makesit easy to fiddle with the placement
Great review, how would position your speakers?
Thankyou Zack, It is coming up in a video very soon my man!
I have a unique approach based off some strong fundamental principals
yup, it's on my radar

thank you kindly Michael,
some people just like to judge or hate before actually trying something that may upset the safe space in their mind....
I was looking for something like that for my Jamo S809 but yeah this one is a bit priced.
Definitely pricey but I will tell you for sure they work

@@PhotoTerco I am not sure about quite as profound a result but I am sure it will help a lot especially if you have wooden or tile floor!
I want these D7.2's 😩
IF you ever find yourself in Malta feel free to come have a listen!
do you think its worth the cost?
Yes it is, when I think about this kind of improvement for the money within a higher end system its hard to beat if not impossible
