i had his first if not his second album in vinyl...one of the proponents in Nippon Jazz as it was called then in the Philippines. Love those high school days!

@cathydc2008 - Your right. I remember so well that the mid to late 80s was a wonderful time for the jazz scene. So frustrating that today there is so much cool jazz still being played but jazz is being squashed on many US stations and being replaced with other formats (rock, oldies, etc).
