@7.07 4KN force was acting upward so negative. @7.52 4Kn force was acting downward so it should be positive. How did it change its sign? We consider hogging and sagging concept in Moment calculations but what is the concept behind taking clockwise and anticlockwise in shear force consideration?

Sir at point A u have a reaction support of 4KN and it is in upward direction which means it will be -4. why didn't u consider that support reaction while calculating SF at A?
@@prannoychand2669 it is because the forces acts in that way to balance themself just remember that whenever you r exerting upward for on one side it is -ve however on the other side you need to consider it positive.
For the value of Shear Force in A will come zero not only the previous answer 4 is wrong it should be like 4-4 = 0 previous answer and RA value -4 then the answer of Shear Force in A is zero it is correct. The value of Shear Force in A is -4+2+4+2-4 = 0 (OR) 4-4 = 0 this is the correct answer
A Semply a Supported beam of Span 6m carries a Point load of 4KN and 2 KN at a diatance 1 m and 3m from the left end of the beam. Draw SFD & BMD and Calculate Max. B.M.

In S.F sign is positive when act from downward side and when force act from upward that is negative
At calculation of SF a it also has the reaction force of -4 kn , why it's not taken into consideration ?
