i love how much clearer you can hear the electric guitar notes in this video. i wish this song was rerecorded or at least remastered so you could truly appreciate the instrumentation more
same! i'm sure Ric Ocasek wanted to tone down a bit the loudness of the guitars on blue album, love the sound but it's a bit tricky to figure out the electric guitar chords in some parts of the album, I think that's why Pinkerton sounds so heavy on guitars later
The guitar tone on Blue is so huge sounding (big muff into overdrive with middle or neck pickup). Would be ten times better if they were a little louder on the record
Nice cover! I always had the impression that the Ebm7 arpeggio that they play at the beggining of each verse is played higher on the fret, as if they used only the wound strings. What do you think?
There ain’t nothing better than those loud crunchy Weezer guitars. Great job!
thank you!
You can clearly hear the acoustic on this one, great job!
Thank you!!
Love that Squier Jazzmaster Affinity!
It's excellent, still 10/10 after all these years

@@sandwichyourself4481he actually just used mesa boogie mk1 amp gain. no big muff. i wouldn’t be surprised if they did use one on in the garage though
This is the best cover of this song I could find. Great work!
Wow thank you!! I was unsure to make the cover as they are a lot in youtube, but love this song so I gave it a try, glad you like it :)
@@Acacia1 would be a cover if it wasn't a play along. Regardless, nice job
i was hoping to find someone doing the acoustic part. thanks! good job
thank you!💜
Nice! Th arpeggio part is my favorite
This is so cool, nearly the same as the original! Thank you for sharing!
thank you!
Great
One of the best Weezer songs (Burndt Jamb Alt Lyrics is my favorite) but this is a DOPE cover
Great!

I'm sure they use only the EAD strings (wound strings) using the verses as I play it, same thing with almost every song from the blue album :)
also thanks for your comment!
can you share which tab you used? I'm having a little trouble with the end of the solo (2:33)
👏👏👏
Tuning? (Acoustic? )
half step down
What pedals did u use to get that tone?
don't remember exactly, but probably a VOX ice 9 overdrive, rv-6 boss
