HM-181 Hazmat Training: What Is It?
At any one time, US DOT is working on dozens of different rulemakings, about every sort of transportation issue. To keep these rules straight, regulators assign each one with a code called a Docket Number (or “Docket ID”).
HM-181 is one of these docket numbers. At one time, the hazmat rule-makers at DOT reserved docket number HM-181 for rules that were part of a larger effort to simplify the Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR) and align them with international standards.
