      100% It's fine for the knees to straighten but locking and jerking at the top is going to be dangerous for sure over time!

    I have knock knees and 1 leg is longer than the other

      interesting mate in this case I would do a single leg press and match your weaker side reps with your stronger side! Also keeping that tension on the outside of your foot will help strengthen the glutes and help the knock knee issues
