- Dewalts newest press tool we found at the AHR show in Atlanta.
Pretty neat tool, quite light and quite fastest.
I feel like Dewalt has been pushing their limits for the past few years and have really been coming back with some cool and useful tools for my trade and other trades.
Looking forward to seeing more from them Развлечения
I love dewalt but they are years behind on this one.
Yup, definitely behind
It doesn't matter because milwaukee years behind trying to get on a bigger platform cause they can't keep up with dewalts 60v offerings😂
Not to mention they make dog shit carpentry tools.
@@user-hm6mx3nq2jthey’re run time on batteries are shit too so I switched to dewalt and I also absolutely love the 60v platform
Hey boy, Back in my day we would crimp then by hand and never have a leak c
I see what you did there😂
Didnt have purple hair either 😉
Replumb
3/4 Press Fittings must be some marketing budget to run a days worth of demos 😂
Late to game, I’m a big dewalt guy, it have the Ridgid rp241 and love it
That is awesome, I hope we can use that for crimping the pex as well
Ya, I believe they’re gonna make an attachment
You're an idiot of you think this is for pex
Day late and a dollar short.
Dear DeWalt,
WHEN will you release a cordless Siding/Fencing Nailer?!?
Let’s hope soon
There is an aftermarket kit that I think you can attach to dewalt roofing nailer. Look up “Siding Tips”.
they already have, it's called the roofing nailer when you buy a siding tip adapter from @sidingtips
@@Fractal-insightsYup. Man these people are so far behind.
I have one
I need that
is this lighter and slimmer than the milwuakee M18 one?
Dewalt needs to hire people who know how to use the tools like a real construction worker… that’s why we stopped selling expensive Black/Decker!! Idiots were sent to our store as representatives!!
I haven’t seen power tools for drywall texture. Just the impact drywall drill from power tools but i want a texture sprayer soooooooooooo bad! Do i always have to take out the large compressor and hopper!? Just for a 8 ft x 2 ft wide spray!? And No! The canned sprayers suck! They all do not have 100% accurate settings and are expensive if the job is slightly too much for a single can. Like if its a small job (like the 8’ x 2’) we cant charge more than 100, lose almost 50 for 2 cans and 20 for mud and tape. Also a detail spray painter…. A small table that I cherish.
Dewalts always like 3 years behind😂🤦🏻♂️
Do they sell double rings for AC
What’s the maximum size copper crimps for this tool, and will it megapress steel?
I think up to 1” so far, megapress I’m not sure, these are still in production
2'' press with this tool
Soooooooo late to the game but well executed
being a bit late though, has its benefits, they could take what others are on the market currently, and find out their drawbacks and how they can improve on it. I think the biggest problem with these are cost and also how bulky they are, so we need them to be more affordable and more slim and lightweight then it'll be perfect
Why in gods name are these so expensive?
demand
@@joseviana2112 supply and demand is a myth
DeWalt has a lot of wacky tools, now. It’s the battery packs. I doubt there would ever be a power cord version of this tool, but Im too lazy to check.
Cords left with the mullet
@@bobjones8378 If you are a DIYer, there is always an outlet nearby. I’ll keep my corded tools and my mullet.
I get it now you're just an amateur not an actual tradesman ...Makes total sense.
@@bobjones8378 maybe I’m not a tradesman but I love and care for my tools as though I were
Do they make an attachment pressing tool to ad to a drill or something like that?
nope. only specific press tools unfortunately
That would be cool tho
👍👍
Fastest way to get one ?
I’m from San Diego
Can’t find dewalt press tool around here
They haven’t come out with it yet, only a prototype so far. They said end of year this year
You took the gun off the fitting wrong veiga not approved
What's the model number?
What’s the tool number, code??
What is the model number on this?
Not sure, won’t be out until end of year
@@The_Impetus got it , dewalt DCE210
Dewalt needs to step it up with their tools. They are to slow. Not keeping up with innovation.
Release date?
Later this year I believe
PEX??? Please 🙏
Will try to get a demo when they have that out
How much do you think it will be? 1800$ or more?
It's going to be closer to $3000 like the other brands
It's not the megapress. It's price point is to compete with the m12 and ridged 12v. Bare tool is looking at about 1800 or 2300 with jaws. The price isn't set and may change.
My Milwaukee pro press 2” gun was $1500 bare tool only plus 2k for the copper heads. I could spend another $2500 and get the black iron jaws for mega press. If you want the full kit for copper and gas pipe you’re looking at ahout 6k but it’s honestly one of the best purchases I’ve ever made
@@jake16542 We have the Milwaukee megapress.. Not sure what you mean by 2'' press. FW Webbs $3600 for copper and black iron up to 2''. Yes the jaws are different for copper and black Iron I mean one set of each.
Been using them for about 20years in the UK full set 15mm to 54mm cost now about £1200 /$1300
Finally dewalt is going pro for plumbers.
Screw Milwaukee
That's nothing new. I have had nothing but bad luck using press tools, nothing beats soldering.
That’s sad to hear, never had a problem when using viega press
How much?
We don’t know yet, prototype so far
The price is estimated to be around 2300.00. It may change. It's dewalts answer for Milwaukee's m12 presstool, Also dewalts presses up to 2'' where Milwaukee's m12 only does 1 1/4.
I like my solder still
Only 800$ I'm sure
Isn't the competition like 2500 bucks
@@farmermann2335yep that’s about right
Don't bother coming to my house if you plan on using that. I'll hire a real plumber instead. #solder
And you’ll pay for the time for them to sweat all the fittings together too.
Especially if they are running a gas line, megapress gas fittings are the way to go
OK, I'll charge you double in labor and still give the same warranty.
@@Christian-sh9fb you charge double for doing it the correct way? So are you a part time hack, or just not skilled enough in soldering that it takes you all day?
An o-ring will eventually fail on the pipe, but the pipe will fail long before the solder. ProPress and sharkbites are for hack plumbers.
@@411Adidasactually if you install the fitting per manufacturer instructions I believe there is a 50 year warranty on the fitting. You are just to old and bullheaded to think anything than other than the old way works. Maybe our wheels should still be made of wood, maybe we should just go back to 1930 when everything was just perfect.
BS. I’m 55 years old and have soldered for decades. The progress works great if you do it correctly. If you solder improperly, that too will fail. Propress is the future. I’m sure that you’re the type of guy that paper maps were better for navigating than gps .
Like 6 years late to the game people! Not to mention copy all the other brands... this is why Dewalt is no longer any quality
Really bad demonstration. No way this dude works for dewalt
Doesn't matter the brand here. All of these pro press tools are for NEWBs that are scared of actually doing plumping correctly, which is with copper & brazing the joints with solder. The same goes for PEX installs. NEWB's just because it is fast & sometimes cheaper does not mean that it is the correct way of doing things. I have seen a shoty job after shotty job that I have had to repair because these fittings have either come loose or been blown off by the water pressure & you can tell they were crimped. Why not do the job correct the first time & have no repeat buisness. That is another thing that chaps my ass do the damn job correctly the first time so you do not have any repeat buisness for shotty work.... just scamming people out of money that is what that is.
Shut up, fool. How old are you?... 20 something?
Definitely, and we need to ride dinosaurs to the jobsite as vans are too easy to drive.
Dewalt what a joke
