Been obsessed with The Anix as of late. Bought his digital albums and Shadow Movement on vinyl. Can't believe I slept on Brandon's work for so long. Keep the dream up, brother!

I'm so glad I came across (The Anix) Brandon's music during Covid by chance at 2am one night, genuinely helped me rediscover a side of myself I thought had departed in Highschool. Through that I was able to also discover a whole new catolaog of artists in the FIXT line up! Looking forward to future music🤟

i've listened to the Anix music for almost 20 years thru the Myspace era.. Brandon and bands like the Birthday Massacre deserved much bigger status but they always stayed true to there sound..would love to see Brandon do some movie soundtrack work for movies like The Batman or a crime drama.

Brandon's music is so inspiring, as all the visuals and design involved in it. The whole thing is very organic. When you think of the music, all the visual/design stuff comes to mind, and viceversa, as a unit (this is very different than just making the typical merch of a band). I believe what he is doing is much bigger and ahead of these times than people might think. I mean, his music builds up a whole world of emotions and associations in your mind, and then his designs-visuals-clothing contain all of that too, so, for instance, a tshirt he designs is not just a tshirt, but something that triggers in you the same things than the music, all that emotional and conceptual world that you are not just listening, but wearing, and seeing. So that world reverberates in you through many different ways, working all together as a unit. This whole thing is art. And this is only posible because it is done by one genuine artist, with an obvious massive effort. If a company tries to do it with different departments, they would just create different products connected just very superficially, a cool hoodie with the name of the band, but not a hoodie that triggers in you the same emotional world than the music. I worked many years in design agencies and stuff, that's why I found this project so astonishing when I discovered it (there is nothing like this). I don't think people is fully aware yet of what Brandon is doing. And this is something that obviously needs many years to be built up, not just to create the music/art, but for people to get "wired" to the whole potential of all these different fields working together as a unit. So I am glad Brandon sticks to his whole idea and develops it so confidently and tirelessly, without drifting away or subverting his essence, like most artists do. He has a diamond in his hands.

Damn, the struggle of being a creative is more or less the same across all creative fields. Myself, as a digital Illustrator/concept artist I find myself always getting people trying to tell me what I should make or how I should make it. The part about social media is also 200% what im going through. I really think I've found my people with Brandon Smith and the Anix. Great music, great dude with a similarish journey

Thanks, out of all Fixt artist Brandon is someone I wanted to hear from the most.
As far as collabs go, I'd say Parasite with GXG is my favorite.

Wow, hearing Brandon say he wants to collab with HEALTH just made my day.
Also it's such a shame Chester is no longer with us because another dream collab of mine would have been with Dead By Sunrise (considering that was just the members of Julien-K with Chester).

I have been a fan of The Anix since 2018. Thanks to FiXT. I can’t wait for new music.
Edit: I love the collabs, Brandon, did with Julien-K.
