Love you interview and life. VERY interesting ♥. Just a tiny explanation about discrimination. The discrimination against foreigners is IMPORTANT to PROTECT China, since it nearly got destroyed by George Soros and Endowment for democracy, and THOUSANDS of spies all the NGO's in the 90's. The day China remove the discrimination (surveillance, hindrance of all sorts, etc) is the day it will be lost. Discrimination is not a reflection of China, it's a reflection of it's enemies. Did you know China was the only country of the world intelligent enough to put George Soros and his son on it's terrorist list? While in Europe and US we give them millions so speak on stages.
When a government does things for the benefit of their people, a miracle will happen! Unfortunately, our government here in Australia(the US probably is the same) only works for the privileged group.
Mr Gilbert is really a famous guy in China, I remember him from Shanghai during the big construction period from late 90's to 00's. Thai is a great interview.
My KING and young Chinese, more surprise for you, as a 24 years old in 1984 from Macau before emigrating to USA, me and my two buddies travel through China on one of those slow green train from Guangzhou, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Suzhou to Beijing! At that time, there was no tourism industry in China, whether it's West Lake, Temple of Heaven or forbidden City, there was not a single soul other than three of us when we were there! Today, there're 40 thousands tourist visiiingt Forbidden City every day! It's probably hard for you to believe! You have to understand that at that time, Chinese citizens were not allowed to move around all over the country like today! But we can feel the buds of development, farmers were allowed to sell their surplus crops on the street for private profits that were not allowed before reform, resulted in today prosperous Chinese Nations!
Wow, Mr King, I must say this is your best episode. Thank you for presenting the wonderful interview with this amazing gentleman for his 40 years of fascinating life and great contribution in China. My highest respects! 👍👍👍
Like the Korean tourist come to China trip please don't speak Mandarin to them and the Korean people said it: I came from Korea and I'm Korean and I'm not came from China. and like as African people says also: I'm not came from the US and I'm came from Africa. Doesn't mean the black people came from America and usually came from Africa.
What? If you go to China, of course they will assume you speaks chinese if you look Chinese. Same as if chinese go to Korea they will assume we can speak Koreans if we look like them
Thanks for your patience to make this a great interview. Appreciated!
I'M THANKFUL FOR THE OPPORTUNITY TO SPEAK WITH YOU SIR.
