I had the shark in another color combo, it terrified both my cats. Maybe 1 cat would’ve loved the “egg” with the tail, she really loved those tails and toys on a wire attached to a human but motorized like this I don’t know, the one motorized toy with a tail with plumes she would always yank the toy loose before any play could start, that attachment wasn’t a great built like this one seems, but she died in May so will never know. Her sister will DEFINITELY get scared by that. The ball with the pluche would have DEFINITELY been a hit with the one that died, might be too intimidating for the one I still have. I would love to know if that one has a very, very slow/mild setting compared with what’s shown here though, that one might be a hit but only if it has a slower setting (she’s 15, would have been a hit in her younger years, I think but she only got ever more rapidly intimidated by moving toys (and bugs even at this point, she used to catch spiders and bugs but spiders and some bugs have lost any appeal to her, some bugs are still too enticing to not engage with though 😊 But she gets intimidated even by a very slow moving toy on a wire sometimes so finding interactive toys is difficult to say the least lol. Honestly her best form of entertainment is for us to play together with a plush mouse but me throwing it up to her while she’s in or on top of the cat tower or other furniture but also me fetching the mouse each time if she didn’t catch it or when she drops it. Needless to say that only tires me down, not her. She’s a weird one (well, they both were is their own way), I think she was about 6 months when she started to play fetch with me on her own, I never expected her to bring back the mouse I threw (had a pack of 12, so figured playtime would last about 12 throws) but she brought it back and came with a mouse from then on when she wanted to play and suddenly after about 2 years or so (or maybe 5, time is hard to remember by now) she just stopped. She started looking at that mouse without going after it or went after it but left it there. Never figured out why she started or why she stopped. I honestly only even learned them to do 1 thing: climb on top of the tall dresser by using the other furniture around it instead of using the curtains. Succeeded in making that way look appealing but the curtains remained alluring on odd occasions (luckily FAR less though). Anyway, hope to get an answer for the slower setting possibility on the ball with fur, thanks for the reviews!
