    1. What did jack notice about Claire?
Judging by Claire, Jack noticed that she was so blue. He saw that something was disturbing Sarah.
    2. Why did Claire lie to Jack?
As far as I know, she understood that Jack wouldn’t want to discuss Sarah. She was afraid of Jack being ugly.
    3. What was Jack’s reaction when he knew about Sarah’s e-mail?
In this case, Jack’s behavior seems unjustified. Claire waited for help from him. But he just quickly changed the subject.
    4. Why did Jack suggest going out?
As it seems, Jack didn’t want to discuss Sarah’s e-mail. I suppose he needs to sleep on it.
Thank you for the lesson! 🍉🍉🍉

    1. She said he is a good father
    2. She said he was a good father
    1. Paul said he woke up feeling ill, so he didn't go to work.
2 Paul said he had woken up feeling ill, so he hadn't gone to work.

    1. He said that he was going to get divorced. 2. My wife said that she would be late that evening. 3. She said to him that she wasn't feeling well. 4. They confessed that they didn't understand our culture.
While having breakfast, Jack asked me why I was so sad. He obviously noticed that I was worried about something. I lied that there was nothing to worry about and tried to change the subject. I asked him why he wasn't at work and he answered that it was Sunday and he didn't work on Sundays. He kept questioning why I was so blue if all was fine. I gave up and told him about Sarah's email. He was confused and changed the subject in turn. It was obvious that he was not going to discuss Sarah. He asked if I had any plans for that day. I answered that it was nothing special. He said it would be stupid to turn that evening into a lousy one. So we decided to go out.

Are you green ? Yes! Supergreen !

    • @okenglish-practice
