I am surprised there isn't a tune at least on the title screen (something the 128K Speccy manages). The push screen scrolling really doesnt help it either. But this and its prequel really need full scrolling to be in any way effective.
Yep, the shuffle screen is rubbish for this kind of game, even level 3 on this has been changed from a lift going up to static platforms. if I remember right the amstrad suffered the same scrolling on the likes of Green Beret and Rastan,...amstrad always seemed to have it's scrolling games poorly done.

Ronnie Bradley good game can be made on the amstrad but don't forget that the amstrad was a third party computer in england and all the effort of programming was made on the spectrum, the best sell computer in uk. The compagny at the time have more interest to developp à good game on speccy. The amstrad was well known in France and look at games like prince of persia, the bumpy games, shufflepuck cafe, get daxter or skweek. ..Really good game. But just because the amstrad was a success in France.
There is title screen music on the 128K version. My 464 has a RAM expansion so I can play the 128k version and it has the same AY music as the 128K Speccy release.

Is this the 128k version as I am quite sure it had title music? The Mega Drive version I also remember the same song was used in one of the levels. 🤔

Hmmm seems to be a thing, graphically good games have no music on the CPC (Sly Spy, Paperboy and now this).
Usually the case otherwise MOOOOOOORE slowdown on this system.
Isn't this version wonderful? I really love it!
Shame about the push screen scrolling though, it's the only version that unfortunately has it, and some title music would have been nice.

true, but it is much easier to produce flipscreen than horizontal scrolling....
